I just recieved a phone call and VM from this number. A man asked for me to call him back indicating his name was John Shockey from WBB. I have not returned his phone call.

I just got the same call from John Shockee, WBB. I work for Adobe Systems and he called my direct line...

Same as above the guy called me at MSFT and left a vm to call him back. I performed a live search on WBB and found nothing. I later did a google search and found this site.

Same thing as the other folks. Got the call with the specified message. Thought it might be a technical recruiter, but seems like it is some other kind of scam.

I, too, had a call from this number, but no voicemail.  Must have been calling a whole block of numbers.

I'm at Amazon as well and got the same message. Yeah, wasn't sure what WBB was (thought it was a creditor or something). Actually surprised to find this thread.

I received the same call at an unlisted Amazon number received at 12:48PM on 08-Mar-2008. I checked here before calling back, and I'm rather glad I did.

i just posted above. I called the 919 number back *67 and someone answered. John Shockey told me that he had accidentally dialed the wrong number.

got a call from 919-283-4086. as the phone was ringing, i googled the number and found this site. so i let it ring and didnt answer. no message left. unlike many of the people he has been calling, i work in law enforcement and not the computer industry so I have no clue what he would want with me.

I just got the same call from John Shockey at WBB on new year's day at my office number.  NOT CALLING BACK!

Same as everybody else.  I got a call on Sunday while off of work and came in Monday morning to find a message from a John Shockey asking me to call 408-702-2591, but the caller ID says the number is 919-283-4086.  I'm a contractor at MS in Washington.

Same as above on Nov 29th.  Call came in from 9192834086 asking to call back to 408 number.  I am MSFT also.

A guy called my unlisted Microsoft work phone from 919-283-4086 and requested that I call him back at 408-702-2591. He said that he was John Schotky from WBB.

I the same call to my Microsoft direct office line too. Sunday Nov 25th at 5pm, on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From 919 283-4086 asking me to call 408 702-2591.

Maybe get microsoft security to look into it?

Another call to MSFT redmond campus office number at 8pm. I guess randomly calling numbers

Yeah I got the same message at a Microsoft direct line to my office. The number was 4087022591 though.

Same as above. Called my unlisted Cisco campus work phone number at ~1pm, Wed, Oct 31. Asked to return call at (408) 702-2591.

I am glad we have tool on the net to track these unwanted mysteries calls. My hope is we can stop these calls in the future.

Got a voice mail left at my work number on 10/14/2007 5:03 PM from same John asking for a call back at 1.408.702.2591. When I called back, no one picked up. Eventually phone company's message came that your party is not responding, please try your call later. See if we can find any info as to who this caller is and why is he calling us at peoples' work number.

Called him back, using *67, of course.  Guy selling stocks or investment services.

For the record, I, too, received this call: on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend at 12:30 pm - on my office number.

just got a call from John Shockey as well as me to call a 408 number.  message was staticy and clearly a recorded message.

Received call Sat. 6 pm CST on my work line.  My voice mail told me the number calling from was unavailable but he said the same thing as the other posts and left the number to call back 408.702.2591

Received phone call at an unlisted work number with the same thing. I googled WBB Inc. and nothing came up so I figured it wasn't legitimate.

Same as the others except call came from 919-521-4788 and asked for a return call to 408-702-2591.  Not gonna do it!
