Just got a call from that number. GFI Faxmaker renewal notice. It is a legitimate number and service.

They'd get more call backs if when calling a large corporation, the people doing the calling and leaving the messages stated who they were calling or what they were calling about. A generic ... please call us back at the number and extension is no help at all.

The problem is they phoned at 6am..

It is for Monitis calling in regards to the peoples account to check up on the customers.  They offer great customer service and i greatly appreciated the call.  It is an actual human.  Not that many companies now a days have great customer service and I feel monitis provides one of the best customer services as well as monitoring product.  She is only calling because you signed up for the monitoring service and you left your number.  I don't see the problem?

The company is monitis.  They provide website tracking at monitor.us. If you signed up to be a member of this service they are just checking in with you. It's probably a legitimate inquiry, they're just not very good about presenting themselves on the phone.

I just got the same call. I'm not going to worry about it.  If a business is unprofessional enough NOT to include their business name or a reason why I should call, I am not going to waste my time with them.

I'm the person from earlier who originally started the page for this number. I'll be giving this number a ring sometime in the near future (unless someone would be kind enough to do so for me) and we'll see how things go from there. The problem I seem to be facing is that my phone rang early in the morning from this number, else I'd have avoided the voicemail and spoken to the lady directly.

Whether or not this call is actually coming from a human now is beyond me, since you (Mike) have said that almost the exact same message called you. If you still read this tomorrow morning, can you tell me which country and province/state you're in (If you're comfortable?)-- I'm rather curious, as to whether or not this is a geographically targeted call or just a randomly generated phone number list being put to use...

I got a call from the exact same number with (it looks like) the exact same voicemail message ("Kristen, pls. call back on 919-379-3400 x 3634")

I've been receiving calls from this number on my Canadian cellphone now for a few days and today they left a voice mail asking me to call back. I'm very curious as to who this is... Definitely not calling them back though.
