If you request information on retirement insurance (ie: Medicare) your request goes into a pool and allows companies to provide you with information on what they have to offer or compare several companies data to you. All very legal. Keep reading replies and you will see when they finally get it right because they did a little reading.

Why not find out who they are and why they are calling you. It is a service to help you and make your life a little easier. Oh and they do study to be licensed and do get paid for doing their job and guess who pays them? You do from your taxes. Not trying to offend you, but think first!

Their not boxer salesmen because I don't wear boxers and they aren't realtors because I'm not looking for property. But, I'll get even with them by spending all my spare time calling their recording device that makes calls but doesn't answer calls. THINK! Just don't answer their calls or block them.

This number called our office and hung up when i answered the phone. I called back to see if i could have our number removed from the list and it was voicemail for blue cross blue shield.

The usual spamming suspects - call your phone company and your congressperson and demand that this be made illegal.

This unsolicited nonsense needs to be made illegal and now. Enough is enough. 99% of these telemarketing calls are scams or overpriced garbage anyway...probably higher than 99%

Guy called yesterday and asked for our owner. He wasn't in. I told him he might be in today. He called back today and I told him that he wasn't here and he responded, "so he wasn't there yesterday and he's not there today?" And then he hung up! My boss only comes in once every couple of weeks, so I wasn't lying and I was super friendly. I don't like these types of calls.

Called - when answered  they  hungup  this gets annoying.

call from this Cary, NC #.  Since I live in Raleigh-Cary is a suburb of Raleigh--I was surprised to call back and just get constant ringing and no message.  BCBS has been running major scams on people recently by sending out letters to customers telling them how much their premiums will increase under the Affordable Care Act.  The purpose seems to be to sell them on another plan.  One friend of mine was just outright lied to by the BCBS rep when told they had no choice but to pay more, "for all the people not working and just sitting on their butts."  With high unemployment and my friend's wife on disability herself, that was both untrue even as a generalization and, in my opinion, way, way over the ethical line of selling anything.

Same as others, call and leave no message.  I have reported some and the info I get back is prompt but to shorten...the DNC center does not take any action against the caller.  However (at least in NC) you can file small claims for up to $5000.00.  Of course you have to appear in court and even the triad is about a three hour drive.  But if anyone calls from Charlotte area and I find out who they are I will file.

Chris from Blue Cross.... This guy was so RUDE!

I am a Real Estate Agent and just opened a new account with Zillow.  Yesterday they called me looking for somebody else.  They are a Blue Cross Agency. They tried to sell me insurance. Today I logged in to my new Zillow Account and this number showed up as a contact that asked me to call.  I wonder if any other Real Estate Agents are receiving phone calls? Also, curious if Zillow is selling Real Estate Agent's phone numbers.

I keep getting calls from # but no one is on line, or not speaking!
I call it back over and over to not get an answer...

This number called my place of business and asked for several people who work in the office.  After learning that none were available, they (a very nice women) wanted to speak with me.  Really??  Couldn't sit and chat with the person so I have no ideal what they were selling.  The girl on the shift before me said that this number wanted to sell her insurance.

Its not that simple - BCBS corp does not do appointments.  This is an agency attempting to switch consumer policies to theirs.

Called my business number and asked for the owner or manager..I said they were unavailable and asked to take a message. They asked when they would be available and I asked if the call was in reference to
an order. They said no, I asked again to take a message and they said they would call back. I said they would still be unavailable. She hung up.

Caller asked to speak to Manager, when I stated that I was the Owner, the caller hung up. Rude Jerk!
Caller did not state purpose for call. No answer when called back.

I also was being called by this number no message no answer on callback, did reverse lookup. PS team in Cary NC. Luckily my phone has the option to go straight to voicemail so I am no longer bothered by them but am sure I will be bothered by who they sell my number to :-(
