If it's someone you don't know...never answer the call. From con-men to legit businesses, the bottom line is they want your money for some reason.
I have received today 11 calls from this number, i called them and they told me that they will continue calling me until the can fix the system, if you do not like our call change your number, that's it. Can anyone believe this people in TWC treat people like that?
I just got a call from this number and the guy said he was calling to confirm the services I'm getting with twc And I told him I jut did that with someone else yesterday... And he got really weird and kept asking questions about the package we're getting... He was acting very strange... Then was suddenly like. Well ok thank you. Have a nice day. And hung up....
Got a call from this number. No response to me saying "hello" several times...
I cancelled my services and have been receiving 5-6 phone calls a day from this number.
The office is not in Morrisville, it's Mooresville...NC... And they always call multiple times just to annoy you I think.
They called me offering a new bundle package at a lower rate. (Time Warner)

They have called every day three times a day for the past week, I do not answer phone calls from any numbers especially when they don't leave me messages.
I got 3 missed calls from the above number today. I googled it to find out who it was. TWC in NC? I am currently a customer (Albany NY), basic cable and RR. TWC is really the only choice for internet where I am. I can't get Verizon FIOS (my 1st choice), and dial-up (3rd choice) is a joke. Good to know.
Received three calls in one day from 919-595-4892. They didn't leave a message and I didn't answer because I didn't know at the time who it was. Now it makes sense. I canceled my service with TWC the day prior to the phone calls.

TWC calls and hang up, very unprofessional, not dependable and very sorry. Roy Cooper could get off his butt and stop a bunch of this crap!
I have been receiving this call from 919-595-4892 for the past few weeks at least 4-5 times a day both to my home number and my cell. I usually don't answer the call if I don't recognize the number. But not once did they leave a voice mail on my home number or my cell. Today, after getting the call for the third time, I searched the internet for this number and found out that it belongs to Time Warner Cable. Firstly, I don't live in 919 area or anywhere near by. I had disconnected all my Time Warner services only yesterday because their service really sucks. These calls started even before I thought of disconnecting TWC. They should have the decency to leave a voice mail, even if it is automated. When I called back, the same automated menu options played back that you get when you call their 800 number. After trying to get to a live person, I finally gave up. I would like to sue them if I could for harassing me every day. But I know it is a bigger hassle. I just wish they would stop calling me.
Does anyone have any idea about how to make them stop?

Ive been getting these calls now for a week. I don't answer. I have never had Time Warner. Heck all we can get out where I live is Dish. It comes in as Drham, NC for me.
I've gotten THREE calls from this number today. Like many others I find answer numbers I do not recognize and they would never leave a message. I finally looked it up in Google and came here. My husband called yesterday to schedule Time Warner Internet to be hooked up on Friday so now I'm assuming it has something to do with that. Would it really kill them to leave a message so you know?? On my caller ID it says Durham, NC and we live in Florence, SC. No reason that I'd suspect it was Time Warner Cable calling.
I have recieved 2 calls within the last 12 hours from this number. Both times I got a "voicemail" that was just background noise- sounded like a butt-dial.
Stop calling me? It appears that the caller, in calling me 6 times today and leaving no message, does not know how annoying it is? Can you please stop......
I just got rid of Time Warner yesterday a d now they are calling. I HATE TIME WARNER Can't beat AT@T U-verse it is awesome
Since cancelling my twc service (I do still have their internet because it is fast) I have received numerous calls from this number with no msg. Twc customer service sucks. How can I stop the calls from coming all times of the day?
I'm getting numerous calls from this number every day. Day after day after day. If I pick up the call I'm immediately disconnected, if I call back it's Time Warner customer service with a 15 to 20 minute wait to talk to a representative - and I'm not a customer.
TWC, after cancelling our service because of price increases and poor service, they wanted to give us offers and get us back. They called 5 times, I finally answered to get them off my back.
holy molie! Why won't they talk to me? I HOPE it's the retention department because I have called a couple of times and asked about reducing my bill and why am I not eligible for those great new promotions (new customers only) and gosh I might have to cancel my service and go with Dish... so I actually WANT someone to call me and offer me a deal to stay, but these clowns call and hang up, and look at this thread, they have been doing it for years!!!!
All I can think of is the employees must get paid by the call, and there is no monitoring of performance, so the employee simply dials and dials and has no incentive to talk to anyone, so of course they don't. Is that possible? Could anyone really run a business that poorly?
just called me, i didn't answer. cancelled cable yesterday so i figured it was some kind of survey or something, and they reeeeeally don't want to hear my opinion about their bullsh** company!
Must be Time Warner Cable. I tried to get new service. They dug up a 19 year old "unpaid amount owed" and would not let me give them money for new service until I paid this 19 year alleged debt. They had no paperwork to prove it was me or details of what I owed. The worst part is I've been a loyal customer of their's whenever I am in a place where their monopoly exists. Otherwise, I am forced to be a Comcast-monopoly customer when I am in their monopoly zone.
Anyhow, now I get 2 phone calls a day from these creeps.

I received a call from phone number 919-595-4892 today at 9:05am. The lady stated that she was with TWC and that the social security number that they had on file for me was wrong. She said that I needed to go in to update my information or she could take the information over the phone. I then asked her what social security number did she have on file. She had the nerve to tell me that she couldn't give me the social security number. I said "Exactly, and you aren't about to get my social security number over the phone either." Then I hung up on her. Since when does TWC ask for you social? First of all, I have been with them for years and pay them on time. What do they need it for? Its a SCAM!!!! They dont need your social nor does anyone else in this day in time. Beware of the SCAM!!!
This is the Time Warner Cable Retention Center. All they want to do is talk you into not changing providers.
