My company receives calls all the time from this number and it is a recording...a voice mail that sounds like the Chipmunks...(???)...hangs up as soon as it gives the brief message.

Received a call from this number after having received calls from an anonymous number and an international number.  It was the same man, he had an Indian accent.  He said he was calling regarding American Grants.  I told him we were not interested and to take our number off of his list.  He called back and said "I tell you I will f*** you."  I hung up.  He called back and said "oh you know what happened," so I hung up again.  Thankfully I haven't received anymore phone calls today.  (This happened in a 7 minute time frame.)

I also just got a bunch of calls in a row (5) from this number. It's after 11pm ET here which violates federal debt collections laws if this is in fact a debt collection attempt. The missed calls are logged on my Google Voice, so I guess we'll see,

Do all of you have your phone connection through your internet?  This is one of our friends calling in indiana... i believe all routed through these numbers.. i know vonage does something like this... just a thought. 2/5/11

Called and asked for someone.  Said that they needed requested person's cell phone number because theyhad  lost their blackberry... If that isn't unprofessional and desperate...

There are two different numbers that keep calling my phone.. My number has not been given out.  They never leave voice mail.  My number ison a no call list.  Tracy 12 jan 2011 above  said it is a debt collector.   We owe no one.  Should this persist, we will have our phone carrier identify the people calling and file charges against them

I get calls from this number as well. They are not calling for us, but rather to get information on a family member who owes money to a company. We gave it over and they don't call anymore.

I'm getting these calls 4 to 5 times a day  when  i pick up then call they hang up, when I call the number back I am told the number is no longer in service. I called my phone carrier and had the number blocked.

Called this morning. Did not answer. Caller ID showed up as Etrails Worldwide.

Same here (etrails worldwide, 919-etc). All of you should check if local phone carrier offers bundled-in 'call rejection/block' service (I dial *60 and 'reject last call').  Cuts down considerably on the cr*p calls hogging my line!

I have also been receiving calls from this number.  When I answer it is a recording telling me that I owe money and that I need to call back because my social security number is in jeopardy.  Some of the calls when answered are saying it is a law office.  I have also been getting these same types of calls from a 616 number.

I am getting these same types of calls.  The last one I got I tried to call back and a recording came on that said this number was not in service. The caller ID said is was from North Carolina with the number.  I have also been getting calls from a 616 number that is the same thing.

Been getting calls from this number & another 919 area # since Dec. 16. The recorded message says "A very important matter surrounding your name & S/S#. Please contact us effective immediately at 1-866 748-7600. When calling refer to ext.391." Was told this # is for FRC FINANCIAL RECOVERY CENTER. I'm retired, don't owe anybody any money and always pay my bills on time. The reverse lookup tells me these calls are coming from Cary,N.C.I've had 18 calls from these 2 #'s. I've reported these calls to the S/S Admin.,FBI,FCC,FTC,CPA,Do not call list,Windstream & local police. Nobody seems concerned. Anybody out there getting similiar calls?

calls anywhere from once a week to twice a day, " you have reached the voice mail of Chris (Krisopher) ? last name is kind of blurry at the tone leave a message and I will call back." then it hangs up.

Our company gets the same thing.  Calls all the time, but it's a voicemail and it does sound like the Chipmunks!
