Received a call from this number this evening supposedly from the National Credit Union Association saying my debit card had been locked. My debit card isn't from a credit union. So I pressed one and they asked for the debit card number...click I hung up. Good luck tracking these b*****ds down. Go get um!

I don't have any debt and these are just spam/scammers, and yes, when you try to call back it sounds like a fax.  I am making a list of numbers for Verizon for I have listed my cell as Do Not Call and I can report them all.

Just saw the number on my cell caller ID. Since I use my cell for emergencies only, and I have given the number to NO ONE, I was curious. Don't know how they got my number?

Received call Wed 30th of March they called my cell phone number, not sure how got that number but stated that they were calling from CSE Federal Credit Union and locked my debit card and I needed to verify my number w/expiration date and also asked for my pine and this was an automated call so I called my bank which put a stop cxl my card and stated they would never call and even ask over the phone for me to verify info and then the lady claiming she was from the cable co called me about 12-15 times stating she needs me to make a payment on my account or w/be disconnected and that she only had my cell and even while I was speaking w/Time Warner Cable, the lady called 3x just while speaking w/her and stated they would only do an automated courtesy call if they would call at all, they would never have a live person call and need my debit card so luckily the bank cxl'd everything

Received the call Sunday 3/13/2011 at 1956. Did not answer this call and googled the number and saw these postings.  Glad I did not answer the phone.

I got this just now. Saying my mastercard has been blocked. Hahaha I don't even have a mastercard. Don't answer and do not give your info out.

I also received an early 5:30 PST  call but didn't answer.  Glad I looked here.

Called at 1 AM on my cell phone. Scammers. Privacy Star lists them as RDC Property Managment.

SAME THING- THEY CALLED MY CELL PHONE!!- CLAIMED TO BE WAMU IN BREMERTON-- HUNG UP ON THEM-- DONT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM AND NONE OF THE BANKS USE MY CELL # OR KNOW MY CELL #!

Same call, same scam (claiming to be Washington Mutual) here in Kirkland.

just had a call on my cell, didn't answer and they didnt leave a message. I am curious how they got my cell number.

Just like Kat, I received a call from that same number saying that it was Washington Mutual calling to say they were sorry for my lost debit card.

The funny thing is I have never banked with Washington Mutual and to make matters even funnier!  Washington Mutual was bought out by Chase!!!!  HAHA!  Talk about a bad scam!

I got this message on my answering machine today. 3.10.11
"Your Card has been lost. To reactivate please press 1 now and you will be transferred to our security department."

I didn't recognize this number, 919-754-8077 and I know I haven't lost any cards recently. Figured this must be a scam.

I have gotten 4 phone calls on my cell phone in the past hour from this number. It is a recorded voice telling me that my Washington Mutual Debit Card has been blocked and to please press 1 to get it un-blocked. We don't have an account with Washington Mutual...and never have had an account there. Tried to call the number back (using my work phone that is not traceable) and it was a fax number. Obviously a scam!

Just got a call from this number, but I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message, and I found this page when I Googled the number.  Sounds like a lot of people have been tapped for this scam.

Had a missed call from this number. When I called it back I just got a busy signal. I looked it up and found all these comments. While nothing actually happened, it's good to know to be on the lookout for such scams.

I got a call form these people today as well. Same as all of you.

I got a call from them yesterday as well saying the same thing, but the number was "216" and it came up on my caller ID as "asteriso". Anyway, I hope that helps.

Got this call that woke me up at 1 am on 3/10/11. Was an automated call that said "they were sorry to inform me that my Washington Mutual Debit Card has be frozen and I needed to press 1 to be connected with security". I hung up the phone. WAMU was bought out by Chase a few years ago and I don't bank with them anymore...total scam.

SCAM (919) 754-8077. Called at 7:55 am to Bainbridge Island, Washington across from Seattle and said our WaMu debit card was deactivated and to press a #.  WE NEVER HAD A WAMU ACCOUNT!  Hit *69 and got the number and found these posts. Can't believe the State Atttorney in North Carolina has not shut down the phone number as this has been continuing for months. I filed a complaint with Rob McKenna, our state Attorney General, asking him to contact the NC State Attorney and put these felons in jail!

I was asleep at the time and it scared me out of a sound sleep.  B*****ds....I called my bank to check on my account, and i put a fraud alert on my accounts because you never know. I have been applying for jobs lately and all that information is on on-line applications.

Got a call from this number in Seattle.  Didn't answer because I didn't recognize it.  Googled it and saw that it was a scam.

This phone # just called me on my T-Mobile cell phone in Seattle, WA. Thanks to the people who reported it here so I knew it was a scam.

Same as above.  Repeatedly pressed 0 and the female computer voice repeatedly asked me to enter my 16 digit card number. 000000000000 Now anyone can clean out my account. Give fish.

i just received a call from this number, caller ID said it was from Raleigh North Carolina.  I tried calling back and got a noise like a fax machine.  SO I googled the number.  I was worried when I saw that some people claimed it was from BECU (Boeing Employee Credit Union).  I do have an account with BECU, but they wouldn't have a Raleigh phone number as they are based here in WA.  But then I saw that many people have gotten called from thi number stating they were from all sorts of banks/credit cards.  I will be calling BECU when the baby falls asleep.

I got the call at 7:30am. Wasn't quite awake yet. But when they said my Washington Mutual debit card was blocked, I knew better. They've been closed for more than 2 years. I hung up.
