I am getting repeated calls for someone who has not been at this phone number for at least a year and a half. Although I have repeatedly called back and requested that the number be removed from their database, the calls continue.

complete nonsense...an idiot calls and wants all my personal information, when I ask the details, the idiot hangs up....these people should be reported to law for wasting people's precious time and energy...IGNORE THIS NUMBER...

Have been getting up to 4 calls per day from this number for over a week. I finally found out who they were by reading this website and called back.  They are a collections agency but they told me they have no balances for me in collections.  Not even an apology!  They said "give us 48 hrs to get your number onto our 'do not call' list.

This person keep calling my line and don't say anything.

It is a debt collector from Absolute Collections.

Patient Financial Services - bill collector for American Anesthesiology.

Absolute Collections who work on behalf for Duke billing or Duke Physicians, etc...

I got 2 calls from this number (919) 755-2495. It was a robo-call voice and when I tried calling back it was busy all the time. It talked so fast I could not catch the 800 #, and when I hit the * key to repeat the number, I was disconnected. To my knowledge I don't owe anyone any money so don't understand why or how they got my #. They also did not mention the name of the company.

The caller ID just shows Raleigh, NC.  This is a company called Absolute Collections.  They may also use other company names.  They have machines to call you and leave messages to call 800-752-4172.  They also use numbers beginning with 919-755-3* and others. Read below for the best way to deal with these types.

With VOIP phone service from Lingo (and I think Vonage, perhaps others as well) you can reroute these types of calls right back to the company so they end up harassing themselves.  The feature is called "Selective Call Forwarding" on Lingo, and with it you can route any quantity of phone numbers to any other numbers of your choosing.  (You can set up multiple rules to such that you can forward legitimate calls to your cell phone, for example.)

In this case I have already set up rules to forward "919-755-2*" and "919-755-3*" right back to 800-752-4172, so the company will end up calling itself.  Notice the asterisk wildcard on the incoming numbers.  In this case that means even if they have a block of 1000 phone numbers, anything that matches before the wildcard will be rerouted to them.

This feature is wonderful.  Not only will you not be harassed, you'll get the satisfaction of knowing you're aggravating the hell out of them because they're not able to harass you, and instead they're cauisng their own phones to ring.

No, I don't work for Lingo.  I'm just tired of abusive collection services, many of who don't care whether they're calling the correct number or not.

These people call and call me by someone else's name. When I say "I'm sorry, you have the wrong number" they continue to ask me if I'm that person and that they just talked to me at this number. Obviously not! Annoying

number on caller id....called it, it rang and rang...tried calling it back and only got busy signal.  I don't owe anyone money, I am sure they are looking for my step-son.  He owes me money too! Good luck! =)

I get several calls a week from this number.... Same as the other callers.  When I answer phone a message says the caller is APF Collections and asks if this is Michele Trazinski.  I stay on the line to tell them to quit calling me and remove me from their call list.  They never answer.

I got a call from this number, it (not a real person) asked if I was Sue and I said yes and it transferred me to a ring that was never answered. I tried calling back and only busy, no matter when I called. I don't owe anyone that I know of money as previous comments suggest that this may be a collection agency and when I said yes it was me, why didn't anyone come on the line? This is very frustrating, are we being checked to see if someone is home?  The caller id says Raleigh, NC.

This number calls and nobody talks when the phone is answered .  When we call back it either continues ringing or is busy.  We have turned their ignorant a** into the cops.

Didn't recognize the number.  They left no message.  Saw previous posts and tried calling back.  Only a busy signal.  Is this a scam of some sort?
