Just a polite sales rep for www.sharefile.com looking for I.T. people who might participate in a webinar on either Tuesday or Thursday.  Not a scam.  Just trying to generate business.  Sharefile is a cloud computing product offered by Citrix, a large database/cloud computing company (http://www.citrix.com/)

Check out the website and see if their service might be right for you (that sounded like a drug ad didn't it? :-)

If they called you, likely you used your phone number at some point as a business contact number, such as on a state or county filing or posted it as a contact number for your eBay listing or other business at some point in time.  If you did, it doesn't matter if you list that number with the Do Not Call Registry.  The registry doesn't apply to business numbers.

Call to our firm today.  Guy said he was calling from Citrix a secure file sharing company.  When I asked who was calling he says "You don't need my name" And then I asked what company which he provided with his brief description.  I promptly replied that was not something my boss would be interested in.  After I hung up..I put the number on our Call Block list. !!

Received a call from 919-827-8213 at my work number.  "Taylor" said he was with Citrix.  Works with accounting firms to securely send files to clients; tax returns, etc.  I asked him how he got this number, he said, "Google."  I told him we were not interested, he said thank you and hung up.

After receiving a few calls from them, I called their Customer Service number, 1-800-441-3453, press option 2 and asked them remove us from their telemarketing list. The guy that answered was very polite.

I received a call on my unlisted residential phone that has been on the federal do not call list since it first started many years ago. Since they did this federal criminal act, they cannot be trusted. Do not do business with them.  Also, they have made past calls from another number.

Not first time they have called. I answered this time. Could hear a man talking to co-workers for about a second before hanging up on me.

So far they have called me every day for the last two days. I've never done business with them before, and they called me on a telephone number that I registered with the national Do Not Call Registry. I reported them:

It is from ShareFile a service that allows people to send large files. The service is legit.

They claimed to be selling some kind of software for architects..... BOGUS

Call went to voicemail.  No message was left.

The guy said he was from Sharefile, a company that works with Bookkeepers and Accountants. I told him I no longer did that type of work. He thanked me and hung up.

No message left, no caller ID.
