Same as everyone else, I answered, no one said anything, then they quickly hung up. It's from my same area code. Maybe just a "bot" looking for active phone numbers for sketchy sales/fraud purposes?

I get 2 or 3 calls aday from this number, both on my cell and my home numbers, and knowone is ever there.

Its someone from the News and Observer selling newspaper subscriptions. If you say HELLO loud enough and enough times, the elderly gentleman telemarketer will respond.

Ditto on the multiple calls. I'm on the do not call list but just moved so I'm getting HUNDREDS of calls a week from numbers like this...old phone, new phone and cell.

I have received numerous calls from this NC number. WHO is this? I sure don't know, but their calls are annoying. I now realize that being on the Do Not Call List really doesn't make much difference at all...

I also received a call from this number today. When I call it back, I get a message saying the call did not go through. Same experience as others...just waited for me to say hello twice and then hung up.

I've been getting phone calls from this number randomly for the last couple of weeks. Nobody ever speaks, only hang ups after I have answered. If I don't answer the call, they don't leave a voicemail. I don't think it's a business phone, seems personal.
