Well.....Been awhile since a number made it through my Telephone-Firewall. This one is the first one I have had this Summer from this Telephone Number.

I have been fighting these Telemarketers, Scammers and Spammers for about a couple of years. You can benefit from my Research into the "Political Survery" Scam, the "Free Cruise" Scam, and the ever-annoying Shady "Home Security" -&- "Free Alarm For Your Home" Scammers (as well as these "so-called Troopers") by doing the following:

Get yourself a "Digitone Call Blocker". It plugs in between the *Wall Jack* (where your main line enters from outside your house) and ALL of your home phones that you might own.

Block "Out of Area", "Private", "Anonymous" and other OPX-Type-Calls.

And............. Blacklisting!! This is way Cool!!! Example:

That is right, don't know anyone in this Area Code? Block the ENTIRE AREA CODE out. No more calls at 6:00am to wake up your

family. Blacklisted numbers never make it out this device, and onto your home phones (however many you may have).

Stores up

to *80* Blacklisted Numbers (the PLUS Model Stores *140* and yes, they can be "daisy-chained" together), but as I said, you

can conserve your Blacklist by Opting to Block on the entire Area Code!!

Blacklisting an ENTIRE Area Code *CAN BE DONE in MINUTES*, with no further programming EVER!!!

PS: Is Your Cellphone Getting Calls? *BOTH* AT&T and Verizon (if the Scammer is calling your Cellphone) have Call-Blocking Features. AT&T is the Best, as they allow you to store up to 30 "Blocked Callers". AT&T's Service is called "Smart Limits For Wireless" and makes a perfect Scam/Spam Firewall (I just wish it held more than thirty numbers!). At Stated elsewhere, Verizon has one but it does delete itself every couple of months.

Jay from NC Trooper's Association asking for money, told them not to call us

Just recd call from this number, said it was Jay from the NC Trooper's Association. Told him on do not call list, he again said it was Jay from NC Trooper's Assoc, then he hung up.

Got a call about 20 minutes ago. It displayed as U known so I didn't answer. Once my answering.    machine message began playing, caller hung up.

said trooper fund, tried to tell him to take my # off the list and stop calling but he kept talking too fast , not listening.
Hung up on the dude.

Received a call from this number Friday June 6 at 5:39 PM EDT. Rang several times, left no message.

This number calls our business and hangs up. What's the point in making a phone call if you aren't even going to try to sell me something?

I am keep getting calls from this number and when I answerd first time couple days back they have mentioned that it's from Time Warner. The caller ID says "Selma, NC"

just got a call from this number,  got one yesterday,  from a non profit,  it is handled by a company called SHARE,   and that is what they do.    My call from for UNC TV.

I have been receiving daily - including several times a day - from 919-975-4503.  I do not answer phone numbers that I do not recognize.  When I Googled the number it brought me to this site and I see that many others have also been receiving calls from this number.  I am on the Do Not Call List and feel that if this was a legitimate call they'd leave a message.  Just plain annoying.

They call my business # 3-4 times a day.  I don't answer and just press the send-calls button.  buh-bye

Similar to the other messages above.  When I get calls from this number, I answer and they immediately hang up.  Now I have added them to my Contacts list (Junk caller) so I can ignore all future calls.

If this is UNC TV, they are going to lose donations by using this sorry service.

I too have been getting calls several times a day. I have been so thoroughly annoyed that when I did my research (it is from UNC TV) I called them at 1-888-292-7070 which is their customer care line and requested to have my name and number removed (also my mailing address).  It will take 2-4 weeks for this to happen - but you shouldn't receive any more calls during pledge drives. I cannot believe the amount of money they waste. I used to donate but don't any longer because of their tactics.

This number has been calling me for months. I'm on the Do Not Call list, but they don't stop. I won't answer numbers I don't recognize.

919-975-4503 calls every day, sometimes several times a day. No one leaves a message. I don't answer any calls from numbers that I don't know. How does anyone get these stupid calls stopped? My number is on the lists to stop getting calls.

I keep getting calls from this number many times a day and every day.  If this is UNC TV, I am glad I stopped giving to them.  I had set up a monthly donation from my credit card.  When the card was compromised, I had to cancel it and get a new one.  I had a problem starting the monthly donation and then they started sending me bills for months I had missed.  This has been going on for over a year.  What a waste of money.

I just received my 9pm phone call that I never answer and they do not leave a message. I googled the phone number to discover other people are getting these unwanted phone calls too. I just don't know how to get them to stop!!!!

Calls keep coming in from this number over and over again.  I receive at least 20 calls per week from this number.  I want it to STOP.  I don't answer and no message is left.  I don't know who these people are, how can I make them STOP calling my phone?  Who calls someone that many times without leaving a message?  Only CROOKS do that!

Fund Raiser for public tv

I get calls every day on my business line for the past two weeks or so, all after about 6:30PM.. The caller ID reads UNC TV.  They leave no message. Today the phone rang during business hours and I picked it up to give them a piece of my mind. I said hello a few times, waited a few moments but they hung up on me anyway.  What's the use of calling if you don't leave a message or even if someone picks up you don't leave a message?  Very annoying.  My voicemail clearly states this is a business line.

Telephone  calls from this number almost everyday.  I don't answer because I do not recognize the
number and, I believe, even if you are on the Do Not Call registry a non-profit organization/company will be able to call.

If you have donated to a non-profit they will call from thIII s number to contact you in the future.

Keeps calling my phone over and over again. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize due to recent spam resulting in crazy cell phone charges and Verizon advising me to not answer calls I don't know.
