Might very well be Humana, but I do not have Humana insurance.  So I consider it unwanted/unsolicited...SPAM.  

Blocked now via my cell provider.

My ex was called.  She was never on this plan.  I refused to give the SSN but I gave the Member ID to a man named Chad.  The answering system was the same as Humana.  But then he hung up on me or I was disconnected.  I then called the number on the back of the Humana Card....funny thing....same answering system, only they said they were closed for business ... call back during normal business hours.  
Makes me think its a scam.

I am pregnant. This number was a nurse from the clinical department with Humana offering me a program for expectant mothers. They left me a message with a call back number and the full name of the nurse who called. When I called back, they gave me dietary advice and to keep exercising.

It's humana calling to get you to give up info on yourself in order to find reasons not to cover procedures, meds, etc. I work in healthcare and had surgery which they approved then tried to reneg due to "pre-existing condition" which was not a pre-existing condition. Long story short, my attorney sent a little letter indicating which state and federal laws they violated and they covered it. Now I get calls every week to update my info (they are checking to see if I have supplemental insurance so they can deny a claim), send letters from lawyers offering to represent me d/t an accident so they can see if there is someone they can sue so they don't have to pay even though I was not in an accident of that type, and ask me other questions that are fishing for info they don't need. Insurance companies will do anything to get out of paying, even violate law, because they know most people will back down and not fight for it.

In my case it was a humana nurse calling to assist me throughout my pregnancy.  I am on anxiety medication and have depression issues so I'm assuming she was assigned to me through Humana.  The most obvious reason was already listed...to save Humana money by preventing something bad happening or unnecessary doctor visits.
I find the nurse helpful and they even sent out my choice of a video, some books, or a magazine subscription to help me through my pregnancy.  
I did have to share medications I was currently taking and history of my previous pregnancy, but nothing financial or personal.

They've been calling a few times and now started calling my cell number. I spoke to ONE of the Humana nurses already, and now they're calling twice a week to see if i'm depressed. I'm NOT! I've told them I'm not. So if you're with Humana, best thing, I think, is not to answer!!

It is a Humana Registered Nurse number. Although I'm not to sure if they are concerned with my health but rather attempting to find out how much money I will cost them :)

This is the number that will appear when someone calls from Humana. No one has direct lines, if you call this number you should get an operator.

They called me today at 1:50 PST. They didn't leave a message. I have Humana Dental...are they calling about my plan, or is this just a coincidence?

It is a RN from Humana who is calling to do a basic "wellness" check as I am pregnant.  They call every so often.

It is infact humana. Also they try not to send letters as to save money. Mail costs a lot more than a phone call.

This is indeed a number from humana. My mom is the director of siu. She called me. Its a default humana number from any department.

Humana didn't charge you.  YOUR DENTIST DID.  How stupid are you?

This number is indeed from Humana.Inc.  I have spoken to a Personal Nurse that has been available to me to help me get the best services with my program.  She has been very helpful and has even suggested resources that are outside of Human.  The suggestions she makes are always relevant and helpful.

When she calls and I miss the call, she always leaves a message.

I don't even have Humana and they are calling my cellphone, and not leaving a message.

Numerous calls from this number. No messages.

I am a Case Mgr with another insurance company but also have Humana. The reason no message is left is to comply with HIPAA regs. Medical information can not be disclosed via a (voice mail) message to protect your privacy, should another family member retrieve the message.Yes it's a nuisance but it's the law and protects you from unwanted disclosure. The nursing services are available to help you manage your illness. If you aren't interested, disregard the call. If you would like assistance, you can request information online @Humana.com.

I had a missed call from this # on my cell phone at 10:10 AM CST on 12/01/09. When I called the # back, I reached Humana Insurance. I have an active health plan with Humana & I also just selected my 2010 enrollment options with my Humana benefits thru my employer. When I called the # back, it was outside of their normal business hours so I will try again tomorrow . . .

I don't know this number, so I let it go to voice messaging. Caller didn't leave a msg.

They keep dialing. Maybe it's an automated dialer because no one is ever there. Future calls will be disregarded.

I don't know what their business is in calling this number repeatedly. I never answer, and they never leave messages. Very unprofessional.

Well this is all Bull, I don't even have Humana so I think you are all being scammed because there is not reason at all they'd be calling me. I have Aetna, not Humana.  Don't give out your personal information.

Humana or Insurance companies do not charge you for services, your doctor or dentist does.  ??   It probably cost more for a child because a specialist is used for a child.

I have been getting those calls.  I don't have Humana insurance, I have BCBS.  They continue to call, but do not leave messages.  Very irritating.

Why do they sit through the whole voicemail prompt not to leave a message.
Humana is the dental insurance company .....who charged me $542 to have my son put to sleep for his dental extractions but meanwhile only child an adult co-worker of mine who had more work done only $259..Humana can save there annoying phone calls.
