Has called me 3 times yesterday and already 9 times today! Never leaves a message.

Number keeps calling how do I stop it or unsubscribe ???

I got a call from them also. They asked if I was there, I answered, and they asked me if I have any interest continuing my education after I graduated in 2009. I just hung up. I sense there was a b.s catch and reason for being called so early in the morning.

I also keep getting calls from these people. I have gotten 13 calls since 9:34 this morning. When you call back it says academic advisor. No messages. I finally answered. Got some perky chic named Ashley. When she asked how I was I said " I was fine, but I would like them to leave me the F alone. I started explaining that this was the 13th call and then she hung up. Good riddance!!!! Someone so this company from harassing unknowing people.

I have received seven calls today in two hours.  I opted out twice. I got calls at 10:52, 11:01, 11:34, 11:45, 12:25, 12:38 and 12:59.  I don't know who they are because they don't leave messages. When I called back, a recorded message said it was the number for "Academic Advisor".  

Please stop calling!!!

Frequent calls, no answers, getting very annoying.

This number has been calling me for 2 days, up to a few times an hour. I called and followed the instructions to remove my number the calls continue. I answered and told them to stop calling the calls continue. I did report the number to the FTC, basically for just being harassing.

This number called me 13 times yesterday. Answered the 12th call. They wouldn't tell me where they were from & told them to never call back. Got another call half hour later. This time I screamed at them to never call again. Haven't called back yet.

This number called 8 times today between 9:30am and 3:00pm.  We also are on the no call list.

just got a call from this number on my landline.  Tried to call back with cell phone.  I get 3 beeps then it disconnects

Calls me 5 times a day.  Annoying.

Tell them very bluntly not to call you again, even if you have to speak over them to do so.

If the calls do not stop, report it to http://www.ftc.gov , http://www.donotcall.gov , and http://www.fcc.gov .

They called me yesterday and I didn't ANSWER........ My phone said Algoma, WI. Idk..... I'm on the no call list, isn't this suppose to prevent this stuff?

I've got 4 call from this number already in lest then an hour. I do not answer but they keep calling, I'm getting really annoyed by this.

This # just keeps calling and never leaves a Message. When I call this # back it's all automated. Press 1 to sign up or Press 2 for a call back.

My hubby got a call from this # and called back to a message mentioning school grants, etc.

got a call i said in a nice way they should lose my number the man just talked over me i told him i would get the last word in hung up and put the number on my do not call list they cant callfrom 920-365-3727 if they do they will get the sales REFUSAL message

This motherfuka needs to stop calling me. Its f****n annoying.

I just got this phone call as well. I have had this number call me a few times. Same as some of you I don't answer when I don't recognize the number. I added them to my list of friends and set the number to go right to voice mail. I don't have the option to set it to no ringtone. Thanks for the information. I wouldn't have known about this option without you pointing it out.

Very Well Put not Michael.  The sad part is that each time one of the board members post and attempts to describe the actual function of the DNC,  it falls on deaf ears.    I have given up on even trying to provide info to people or get them to go to the DNC/FTC site and atleast read the Frequently asked Q&As.  Many people only know what someone else,  who doesn't know,  has told them and you can't confuse them with Facts.

The Do Not Call List is a list of phone numbers for people who do not want to be called by telemarketers.  There is a federal law that requires all telemarketers to download this list and not call any number on it. The law does not apply to bill collectors or any company you have done business with in the last 2 years or contacted inthelast 6 months.  It does not apply to pollsters, charities, or politicians.

Legitimate telemarketers - the photography studios and time share salespests that used to call follow the law and no longer call.  For a scammer or a thief its just one more law to break.  Many of the calls are from outside the US in a country where scamming dumb Americans isn't considered a crime and where the local police don't cooperate with US law enforcement.  Others are mobile, moving so often US law enforcement can't catch them.  


As for getting rid of them, it might be possible to block calls from this number.  Ask your carrier how.  If they are calling your cell phone you can put them in your contacts list and assign them the ring tone "no ring".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.
