this phone no which i gave is a scammer using a majic jack on the internet

My caller ID has this telephone number 920-471-1018 but the caller ID name has th
e intitals  "QVD"  ???

They call EVERYDAY...sometime more than once.  When I answer they try to upsell my service, when I dont the NEVER leave a message! SOOOOOO annoying....once my contract expires, I will not be renewing simply because of this added annoyace that seems to go hand in hand with their service

I just got a call from this number again. This time I answered it. They asked for Mr or Mrs. *********. I asked who was calling and they hung up on me. I'm going to keep asking until I get an answer or until they stop calling.

I work in the phone business.  The best way to get them to remove you from their list is to do this.  if you have unlimited minutes on your cell, give them a call when you have alot of time.   talk to them, ask them about every little thing you can , or they mention, and keep them on the phone for as long as you possibly can without ever taking any new services from them, or giving them any information, never give out info to anyone who calls you, only if you call them, period.    after you have had them on the phone for as long as you think you can keep them, then tell them that you are unemployed, or a single mom, or retired or whatever, and you are just lonley, and since they pissed you off by calling you, that you lept them on the ohone for as long as you could just to piss them off and waste their time, and ask them to call back anytime and you will be happy to do it again.
they will remove you from their list.

I get called by this number a few times a week.  After months of ignoring it I answered.  The conversation went like this --

Her: Hello, I am So and So...
Me: And you're from Charter.
Her: ... yes, I am calling from Charter Communications...
Me: I am not interested in ordering any new service from Charter today.
She pauses for several seconds and then thanks me for my time and says goodbye.

Yep.  It's Charter.  Nope, I don't want your crappy cable TV service.  No I don't want your phone service.  Just give me my 100Meg Internet and leave me alone.

The person who called me said they were from Comcast and then said Charter. Either way, it was a waste of my time.

Even if you're a customer, and on the National DNC list, if you tell them to remove you from their internal list, they have to.

Telemarketers (at least Cable industry telemarketers) call back because people don't identify themselves.  Once they identify you, and know you're a decision maker, THEN tell them you're not interested and to take you off their list. STAY ON THE LINE to hear their DNC verbiage (yu don't NEED to stay on the line, but if the read it, odds are, they're going to actually follow through) and if they don't read it, ask about it

I've been getting calls from them every day for months, at all hours.  I never pick up because I don't recognize the number.  Now that I know its Charter trying to sell services, I have one more thing to add to my list of things I hate about this company.  How totally annoying.....OMG, they are calling me again right now as I'm typing this !!!

they have called me 21 times since april 19th. Several times a day in some cases then a few days between calls. I too am on the no call list, but since I am a charter customer, they can call anyway. I may not be a charter customer if they don't knock it off.

There is no reason for numerous calls for longer than a week. This is borderline Harrasement!!!

This number now shows up for people who aren't Charter.  I just got a call from a completely different company and didn't answer because it was this number, but then the voicemail was from a company that I needed to talk to.  Very strange.

Just called today and left no message, must not be important. Must have nothing better to do with there time. I don't answer numbers I don't know, so they can try and call all they want, I'm not answering.

I'm so over these phone calls. I think I'm just going to have to tell them I'm too busy trying to not strikeout for the brewers and I'll explain to them that they're the brood of my early season struggles. Stupid charter. I'd get rid of charter but I have no other options.

I used to be a telemarketer for Charter, there are a few key words you need to use in order to be taken off their call list. Instead of just telling them you don't want their service,  if you specifically say "take me off your call list" or "don't call me anymore" they HAVE to (unless they're breaking the rules) take your number out of their system.
If you give them an excuse or reason as to why you don't want to buy/upgrade to what they're offering, they will call you repeatedly and try to convince you over and over again.

i get a call 3-4 times a day!!  this is gettting old!

They've called me once or twice a day for the past week and a half.

I just cancelled my internet even, yesterday.... and they STILL called me today!!!

They constantly call...I wish they'd stop.  There seems to be no stopping them....

Please make it stop.

FYI - i called the number (during business hours) and got a Charter person on the phone right away (they will always answer since it's a sales line:)  I nicely asked them to please take me off the list.  They said that it takes 20 days and that I might get calls up until then.  Hopefully this really works.

These people have called four days in a row.  Today we answered and set the phone
down until they hung up.
 Every month we go into there to pay our bill.  On their front counter they have a large
NO SOLICITING sign. I told the lady waiting on me that i would like to have one of those
signs on my phone for when Charter calls daily. I got no comment, not even a smile.

Charter.  Again and again.

I answer calls from this number and get hung up on.  WTF!

As always, Charter finds another way to annoy and waste our minutes on cell phone.  They never stop, wish Time Warner was in our town, and would not need these pains in the a**!!!!!

they have been calling constantly everyday never leaves a message kind of annoying so happy i founde this site to find out who it was..

anyone think it might be some ploy to up your monthly phone minutes?  could be getting paid by x phone company to call people and burn their time with silence.  either way it's awesomely annoying

I get a call from this number almost daily--and no one responds when I answer.  Just silence.

I answered and asked the woman if she gave b***jobs---she hung up--------
