They called and asked for "the owner" who is not at this location.  Very strange call and even though this is a business we are on the do not call list.  Someone should investigate these people because it seems like they have been at whatever scam they are pulling for quite some time according to the comments.

Lady called ask me for my date of birth, than I ask who she calling from keeps talking over me. Than she oh I'm from Americollect. who know hate these that call you one a pay by the month cell phone how in heck do they get that information. this is where is at.Americollect located in Manitowoc, WI.  I know now not to answer my cell. I got a vm from this number and they did say they were from Ameriquest Collections.  My name is on my vm, yet they said " hi to carrie and her ex husband"  I'm not Carrie. but I know her and her ex husband, who have been divorced for 7 years.  The lady said their names twice and said she was trying to collect a debt.  I'm curious on how they got my number...

The most unlawful collection call....Just goes to show you corporate/banks ....etc......they are above the law and they can do what they want...... Americans have no rights....... CALL YOUR STATE DEPT OF FINACIAL INSTITUTION....FILE A COMPLAINT

To the few employees at this company that have posted. If you are told by a caller do not call my number again and you call again, you are breaking the law and it is considered harassment. I have been getting calls from this number looking for an hispanic male, I am a white woman from the south, they have been told so many times that tonight was the last straw law enforcement is now involved. And yes they are very rude, even after i politely explained to them that the person they are trying to reach no longer owns this number, they told me basically that they weren't stupid and that I needed to put the man on the phone. So Kathy hope you enjoy the harassment charge against you, maybe you should take this time to learn customer service and the law

Well, not exactly sure how they got this number since it's on the DNC list. They keep asking for my spouse I had kept asking them "What is the nature of your business?" Because well, I'm her spouse so it's my job to know. They kept avoiding the question and said they will call back later. Well, good news caller whom I am very suspicious of. The person they were trying to reach, we had never heard of. They called us liars, and threatened my daughter! That's more than just debt collecting.

The person doesn't even leave a message anymore. I pay them monthly. But there never happy. They want more more more.

This number called me at 7:30 p.m. so I let it go to voice mail.  The message was from a Tracey from AmeriCollect trying to collect on a debt.

Very low-life collection agency that makes pond scum look good. Fifteen calls in three days, answered four of them. Not who they are looking for and they don't believe me. Filed complaints with the Feds and state. If they keep it up, time to make a trip to there "office".

just got a call it is HSBC trying to collect on a bill. The guy was a complete a***ole. When I asked him to send me proof of the bill he just told me that I already know of the bill. Kept telling me to man up and pay my bills. Then when I told him that I need an address so I can send it to my lawyer he ignored me and talked over me and then said "oh you have money to hire a lawyer but not pay your bills"? You need to "man up" and pay your bills. DO NOT ANSWER the guy is very unprofessional and rude!!!

Sd they wanted a known girl in this town, demanded i give them her address and phone number. Sheriff dept would not do anything, musta be getting more complaints, ey.  Callers gave three names to speak to on rtn.

This number is from Americollect - a debt collector in Manitowoc. They will pretend that they are a friend or someone you know to get you to call them back. So, if you don't have intention of paying the collections - don't call them back. Trust me, I know someone who works there. They also use fake last names - so if you think you know them - you probably don't. Just a heads up :)

called and was very rude when i asked who they were and where they were from.
she said she "didn't have to tell me," and i said, "then i guess you'll never find out if who you want to speak to lives here."

Hey, i have never taken out a loan, had a bill, or credit card in my life. im a teen so explain that one jerk. I sure hope you dont work with customer service because my god you should be fired immediatly. These people are informal, rude, and harassing. i owe no bills so they can stop harassing a private number before the police get involved. They also called my teen friend today who has no bills either. ......riddle me that one genious.
