I've gotten a call from this number for several days. It rings once, and that is it.

they keep calling us.. we r on the no call... i finally angry so when they called and asked for bob... I SAID
"HE DIED!"  SHE IMMEDIATELY SAID OH I AM SO SORRY. I WILL UPDATE OUR RECORDS RIGHT AWAY.  I LOVED IT... I THANKED HER PROFUSELY TO MAKE SURE SHE WOULD TAKE ME OFF THEIR LIST PERMANENTLY... !!!

we've received a zillion calls from this irritating number.  today i got a woman and she said she was meyer associates representing gabbie gifford and mark ? her husband regarding something.  i really doubt that is true gabbie wouldn't be associated w/ such a unreliable and irritating company!!! i would like to know if the person who gave the link to the meyer no call list and entered phone # to not be called anymore.  did it work???

Got first call from 920-482-4746 this morning. Called the number and got a message that they are telemarketers and to enter my phone number to be removed from their list. I did that and a recorded voice verified my number and said, "Thank you for calling." I do hope that really puts a stop.

Meyers Telemarketing is still calling at least a couple of times a day they have been calling for the last 3 weeks. I don't answer cause I don't want to talk to them; when I call I  never get a live person just a recording to get my telephone number off of their calling list. Their is no confirmation after calling them that my number will be removed and they still keep calling . They call from this number but you can't call them and talk with them.

This is one reasons why people don't answer their phone any more.  Please have them stop calling me.

Been getting calls from 482 4746 about 2- 3 times a day.  Don't answer - hope it stops soon!

Several comments above mention going to the website http://www.callmeyer.com/meyer-teleservices-do-not-call.php to put your name on the DoNotCall list for Meyer Associates.  No one has said whether or not this worked.  Does anyone know?  Thanks.

Number is originating from Meyer, as noted above.  They are a telemarketing/fundraising service, and do most work on behalf of democrats, yes.

But for all you people griping about Do Not Call Lists, and how they have "no teeth", take a moment and understand why that is, and who lobbied who do make it that way.  It was lobbyists for the large corporations that righties defend to the death, and they successfully lobbied mostly republican law makers on the federal and state levels to not give these laws "teeth".  Some dems succombed to the pressure, too.  But it was Dems who fought to enhance these laws.

Remember things like this before griping on websites and bashing "Nobama" and using other nonsenical language.

you can enter your number to remove it from the call list...I just did this, so will see if it actually works....by the way it asks for your name, email etc....I just entered my number none of the other information

They use different numbers around the country: 269-509-4885,  603-236-7851,  512-782-2651, as well as 920-482-4746.
Obviously a telemarketing firm who figured out that the NO CALL LIST has no teeth.

Repeated phone calls from telemarketers should be illegal and classified as harrassment. This number has called more than once daily for over a week. They keep asking for someone that no longer even lives here, but they don't stay on the line long enough to for me to say that. They simply say "thank you" and hang up. I called the number on caller ID and received a recorded message stating it was MEYER COMPANY and to call them during "business hours". HELLO? THEY just called ME and it's almost 9 PM!

You can go to their website and request to be added to their do not call list. I simply gave our phone number and last name. They do not need my email address (as they request)! They'd probably start spamming that as well.

I called the number that had shown up in my phone log, 920-482-4746, and got an automated message that identified them as "Meyer Associates Automated Do Not Call List." The message also said they attempted to contact me on behalf of one of their "political, nonprofit, or business-to-business clients."  A quick Google search pulled up Meyer Teleservices, a telemarketing / teleservices company.  Asked for you to speak your number at the end of the greeting to be removed from the list.

We also have been getting this call 2-3 times per day. Won't leave a message either and calls super late at night- 8:58 PM, 9:03 PM.

Been getting calls a couple of times a day!  Will not leave a message!  Getting pretty tired of getting this call all the time!  What can be done to get my number off their list?

They have been calling our (unlisted) home phone # several times a day for weeks now. The caller ID says "Wisconsin Call". When my husband has answered calls from this #, they ask for me by name and refuse to leave a message with him. I was going to return the call to see who it was, but decided to look online first. Glad I did.

When I offer to take a message, the reply is "there is no message maam".  Don't know who they are but they call once with repeated calls after that and then it stops for a while.

Repeated calls, no message.  My guess is that it is a company acting as a political fundraiser - in our case, probably democratic.   I believe that, being from a non-profit, political calls are not covered by no call lists (although they should be).

920-482-4746 has been calling us for years. Sometimes months on end. We never answer.   Then for awhile they stop calling.  I have reported these calls to the state of Wisconsin as we are on the "no call" list and all they do is send us brochures and refuse to follow up.

If you call the number you will find out that it is a call office used for political uses.  I believe it to be the Union on behalf of Nobama. Oh, sorry, Obama.

They ask for the man of the house. Say they are the union calling to speak to him.

They will not leave a message so I assume its a salesperson who is in violation of the "no call" list.    I called the state about this and other numbers in violation and all they did was send me brochures and offered no help and no solutions.

It's a land line number in Manitowoc, WI. The phone company that owns that number is Us Xchange Of Wisconsin Llc, doing business as Choice One Communications. No idea who has that specific number though.
