Got a call at 11:52am saying my credit card was in good standing and press one to lower my int. rate. Being that I do not own a credit card I press 1. Some guy answered Card Services and asked if I was in credit card debt of atleast 4,000. When I said no he hung up. Hmmmm, i hope they call back because im TOTALLY gonna give them some crazy numbers and waster their time! When I tried to call the number back it said "Services mail box is full"

Their caller ID says "Wireless Caller" but I have my doubts. Sounded like a call center in the background. "Johnathan" took my call after I pressed "1". They only identified themselves as "Card Services". I was not asked for my card numbers (which I would not have given anyhow) but I was asked for the total amount of c/c debt on all my cards. I was told I would have my interest rate lowered. I said about $2k at which point he said I did not qualify and he hung up abruptly. I would like to talk to his manager about his manners!
And Yes, I am on both KS and Fed no call lists.
So, my advice to all... file a complaint with your state attorney. A crime was committed in your state (if you are on the state do not call list) and you have the right (and duty, in my view,) to report it.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone ....after reading this I put number in contacts and chose option to have call sent directly to voice mail same thing as others calls and nothing

Scam.....I am on all DNC lists. shouyld be reported as violation

They call and call and call.  I am also on DO NOT CALL lists, both federal and my state.  If you press 1 and ask them to take you off the list, they hang up on you.

How can they keep calling when I am on the do not call list?

Just got one...answered but no response on their end.  I really like Kath's post...I think I'm gonna play a little rough with them if the call again...mess with their heads a little bit. Hah!

They call and call, but luckily with caller ID it's easy to ignore.  They, and all the others like them, are a pain and I wish they could be prosecuted for this type of intrusion.

I have no credit card. None. I know it's a scam, but mostly want them to leave me alone.

They have called me repeatedly offering to lower my credit I have answered and told them I do not have a card, and halfway through telling them to not call me again they hang up.

This is a SCAM.  After you press the #1 to talk to a live person, they tell you they can lower your credit card rates if you qualify.  They ask for your credit card numbers so they can verify your info.  REALLY??? I hope NO ONE falls for this.  They keep calling my cell phone, I string them along, ask lots of questions which irritates them.  Then they start cursing me out.  I ask where they are located - they tell me Poughkeepsie, FL even tho the caller ID says the # is from Fond Du Luc, WI.  If you ask to be put on their Do Not Call list, they immediately hang up.   They are SCAMMERS who are trying to steal peoples credit card #s.   Who do we report this to?
