Calls Multiple times but NEVERS leaves a message

filled out a online quote for auto insurance and ever since then I have been getting many phone numbers calling my personal cell number, I believe it to be some sort of scam. They never leave a message so I put their number on the auto reject list, but they call with multiple variations of the same number sequence, there maybe some sort of robocall automated calling system dialing.

These people are part of a scam from India. They threatened me and I called the FTC and wrote the Attorney General. Turn the number into the FTc and block the number. They have stolen or paid someone to illegally get your information. They are using other fake numbers as the same Guy named Kevin called me from other numbers

This Jeff person threatened me on voicemail and when I actually awnsered the phone. I reported him and the number to the Attorney General and the FTC.  Report this so there is a record. All agencies told me its a scam.   I actually called this Guy back, told him I knew he was a scammer and had reported him to state and federal authorities and that the calls needed to cease. Never heard from him again. Bottom line it's a scam.

They called me talking about bank fraud.  I told them this same kind of call from a different company i got three days ago.  I applied for loan on line and ever since, I have been bonbarded with calls and scams.  I am so sick of it.

Dont pay no money they will not arrst you its a SCAMER block your numer or change it  .okay . Please tell me you dident pay them money they cant do nothing to u . Everything will be okay relax its all a scam scam scam to just take yr money .

mary...your welcome...i dont know how to answer your question being you sent them a fax that you was going to pay them,,that could be your downfall...did you fax this from your own fax machine or did you go to a store and faxed it from there,,if you did faxed it from a store then you can lie and say you never faxed them anything and if the judge says then what is this fax you say i dont know but this company is well know for there sleazy ways i wouldnt be surprised if they called somebody they knew in the area where i lived and had them fax that bogus paper...

They called and told that i have pay day loan obligations and i will be arrested on Monday.They had all my info including SSN

I got a call saying the same things. The other day it was a man. Today it was a woman and they are both of eastern descent.

they say they have a lawsuit against me for payday loan i never recieved they said i was going to jail if i didnt pay

I just got a call too, about an hour ago, saying his name was Kevin Anderson and asking if I had an attorney, that a claim had been filed against me.  He has called before.  I have told him to send me something in writing and he never has.  Just aggravating since I work third shift and don't need this harassment through the day.

received a call from this number asking for my attorney.  it sounded like a woman who kept calling me yesterday from 201-809-1808 saying the same thing.  saying i had not repaid a payday loan.  embarassingly i had taken a payday loan a few weeks ago during an emergency but i paid it back.  i asked for an email with proof of the loan and she became irate threatening to have me arrested.  she is also calling me at work.  i have blocked those 2 numbers from my cell but if they continue calling me at work i'll have to get an attorney to call them.  i hope no one else is having such a hard time.

I just got a call from this number. I figured it was a scam so I just started calling them a bunch of f****n f**gots. They hung up on me so I just called them back 10 times cursing them out. They don't answer my calls anymore.

Those of you that are scared, need to calm down.  Like all other comments are stating it is a SCAM.  It is definitely a scam.  I went off on three foreign callers saying I would go to jail if I don't give my credit card number to pay a bill.  When I say I went off on them, I went off in the grocery store cursing loud.  I was livid that they would call with such nonsense.  However, I don't get anymore calls, you have to be firm with them.  I told them to send the cops....I'm no fool.  In most states if a crime has been committed, you aren't going to get a call from a foreigner telling you to pay over the phone....you would get served court papers from a Sheriff, but no phone call.  Please stop being scared and tell the a$$holes to stop calling or be prosecuted...even if you're not going to do anything.

HELLO MARY..the pdl is legal in calif. there is guide lines in calif. the max there allowed to loan out is 300.00
criminal action in calif is PROHIBITED so you cant be arrested
the SOL in calif is 4 years with contract,,2 years oral,if the SOL has passed you dont have to pay them any money and they cant sue you,also pdls does not go on your credit report because its a short term loan the credit bureaus does only long term loans and yes sometimes the bureaus make a mistake and put the pdl on your credit report so all you have to do is call them and let them know its a pdl loan and they should remove it

Thank you you're a big help we'll I've block the numbers but they call from another number and I block that number they call from another number and it's really getting on my nevrs

Don't send no money it's a Scam you will not go to jail they did the same to me too block the number and if it keep happening call you're local police ok

No, but I have read a lot of complaints here about it!  Just don't let them scare you into paying them money you don't owe!

Nope, total scam. They will try to threaten, bully, and scare you into paying money you don't owe! Relax, just a "payday" scam!!
