They never leave a message and they usually are a recording when I answer.  i have my phone set to only accept calls from numbers on my contact lis.  Saves me so much trouble.  If I had the money to pay these bills, I sure wouldn't bother after getting these calls

oh, these guys are horrible!! they call, from this number and a few others, and just hang up as soon as i answer the phone. first off, i do NOT pay a cent to credit collectors because i don't trust them... second, if they think that calling and hanging up is a good way to get money from people, they've got another thing coming. it's harassment,

Called at 10am and since I didn't recognize the number I let it go to voice mail. I figure if they really have a legit reason to call me, they will leave a message and I can return. This is the 5th or 6th time this week they have called and no message was left. I don't understand how they ever collect for any of their clients when they don't bother to speak to anyone at the number they are calling. This irritates me almost as much as the "please hold, your call is important to us" calls. If I was so important, have a live person on the other end talk to me or leave me a stinking message!

I am tired of NFO.  I don't answer calls I don't know and will not respond to an collection agency that in the past has left message like its a call from an old friend or calling my landlord which I informed them if they ever call them again or any family member again I will not take kindly to that approach.

They are idiots.  Think they are sneaky.  They are debt collectors.  If you want them to stop calling.  Just tell them that the person they are looking for no longer has this number and you want them to stop bothering you.  They will probably ask well who is this then.  Respond with a bogus name and it will stop a few phone calls later repeating this conversation.   But if you want to have fun with them, especially Cathy.  Tell her that she is a piece of s*** lard a** who cant get a real job because she is too lazy or her food stamps will be revoked as well as her free health care and living assistance.  I made Cathy cry and it felt damn good with all the harassment they have piled on me.  F*** YOU DEBT COLLECTORS.  IF I HAD THE MONEY TO PAY IT I WOULD HAVE ALREADY AND HARASSING PHONE CALLS DONT MAKE ME ANY MORE MOTIVATED NOR SUPPLY ME WITH MAGICAL MONEY TO PAY YOU.

I missed the call and when I called back asking who they were...she could tell me was "this is Vanessa, is this [irritated]?" Then I asked, "Vanessa, why are you calling me?" she said, "Is this [Irritated]?" I noticed the conversation wasn't going too far so I just said "well, you can leave a message for [Irritated] and I'd be more than happy to deliver it for you".....she replies with "no, i'll just call her at work" URG!! Don't even waste your time responding to their idiotic ramage.

They just called my number.....I asked who she was...She said "Casey" or "Stacy".....sounded like she had smokers cough....I asked who she was looking for...She said my name....I said "Where are you calling from?".....She said in a very cocky tone..."Tell me who you are and then I will tell you where Im calling from"......I told her that, that was not the way it went......I then told her to cease and desist from calling...any further calls from this number and the refusal to identify what company you are calling on behalf of will be treated as harassment......and I hung up on her.....I keep documentation as well.....

I wonder how many collections they get by hanging up before identifying themselves?!  Does anyone get an "Anonymous Hang up call" and say -- Gee, I think I'm going to pay an old bill?!?! They USED to ask for someone (who never lived at the number) and insist on leaving a message for the ficticious person!  WHen they are told NEVER to call again, they just call back 10 minutes later asking for some other person who doesn't exist!!!!!!   FVC is a bunch of nut bags!
