Just got a call from this number. no voice mail, didn't answer of course.

I had the same phone numbers call me close to the same time. I'm in Pullman, Wa and I have Sprint. I've never had this happen to me. I wonder what company sold my number?

Keep getting call from this # and 920-692-9898 on my Washington cell phone.  They are speaking Spanish so I have no clue what is about.  I tried to call both #s to get off their call list and got a message that the # was disconnected or no longer in service.

Spanish speaking so I hung up. Got a call from the same number the next day and didn't answer it

I've been getting a lot of the car warranty ones as well (12079669898 amont other numbers).

Just got a call--its a Wisconsin number

Missed the call, called back and there was a terrible noise and then it said the number was disconnected and told me to check the number if I thought I had reached the recording in error. Blaming it on me! B*****ds.

me too i just got one today from this number but the car warranty one I just pressed one that i'm not interested and the calls stopped

Just received a call from this number... spanish speaking then hung up.  I recently put my cell number on an application for nissanusa aswell as wamu credit cards and best buy credit cards... Dunno if this had anything to do with this call?! maybe one of these companies are selling phone numbers?!  anyone else here put your number with one of these companies?  just wondering if there is a trend with these numbers calling us or if it is random..

got a call last night from this number, some recording speaking spanish. called the number back. got recording saying number has been disconected.

I've been getting these calls too.  I'm also from Toronto.  Anyone have any idea where they're coming from?

Just got a phone call from this person, reading these responses i probably wasted my minutes on trying to phone them back. The (920) code seems to be Wisconsin

Just got the call, answered got a voice recording in English saying 'congratulations on reciving this exclusive prize for Rogers customers only, press 1 to collect your prize' (or something to that effect)
Probably worth mentioning I'm with Telus.
Anyway, I hung up.

Hi Toronto dude. I am from Toronto too. I have been getting a lot of these calls lately. I get them from numbers like 416-000-0etc... as well, claiming that my auto warranty is running out (ha ha, I don't even have a car)...had any of those calls?

I get calls from a lot of US area codes. Since Canada started that new law, I think a lot of these telemarketers are calling from US-area codes.  So I wonder if our phone companies have secretly sold a list of cell phone numbers to these marketing firms.  If that's the case, and proof of this can be dug up, I can see a huge civil lawsuit filed against rogers, bell, telus, etc.

Got the spanish recording. Called back and it said that the phone number was disconnected.

Nothing was left on my Voice Mail. I don't answer if I don't recognize the number. If they don't leave messages , then I assume it's not important.
