I don't blame the a**holes that are making these calls, I blame the pieces of S**T at the FTC and FCC (or whoever is responsible) that allow this to happen. How great is this country, a country that can't solve a problem as simple as this.

I get the same robocalls every couple of days, some from 920-984-3592, and some from 877-728-9891. I add them to my address book, filed under Junk--so that if they call again (and they do) from these numbers, I see "Junk" and don't answer.

Received the call today, pressed 1 to speak to a rep (I wanted to bait them a little).  It was a man with an Indian accent.  I told him that I was busy and if I can call him back.  He said it would only take a short time to speak to me about the warranty.  He asked when he could call me back.  I said no, I would like to call you back.  He said it is an outbound call center and I couldnt call.  I then told him he wouldnt be doing business with me.  He then hung up.

I just got this call. I really hope they find a way to stop this soon.

I have bought my virtual US number from yahoo and I had this call several minutes ago and the same message as you received....

I've receive over 30 calls from this phone number over the past two weeks. They're offering everything from insurance to extended warranty coverage. They've only called my Verizon cell phone but not my land line. When I told Jeff that I was recording our conversation and getting the FCC involved for trying to scam me, he hung up immediately.

I too received a call from this number and didn't answer since I didn't recongize it.  Thanks for this info.

It said it was the last chance for me to receive car warranty coverage, even I did not buy any cars recently.

Just called me and when I called the number back I got a busy signal and then it said the number "was not a working number"
I have gottne phone calls on the car warranty stuff for the last 3 months.  Its really annoying and needs to stop!

It's those damn car warranty people.  My cell is on do not call list, yet they still call.  We should all complain to the FCC about this one.

This number called me at least twice a month. What I want to know is, how the hell did this person or computer get my number? This has been going on for at least 12-18 months now. Usually there is an automated voicemail with it saying something along the lines of, "The factory warranty on your car has expired....". This is totally annoying. I want to know how this person got my number, how I can make it stop, and what could have possibly led this person to get my number. They just called twice, 3 minutes apart from each other.

I got this phone call. I missed it, but it seems best I did. It's hard when I run a business through my cell phone line to ignore numbers I don't recognize. Its bad enough when they call land lines.... they should leave cell phones alone!

Got the call at noon today. I didn't answer, but I've also gotten calls for the auto warranty (I don't own a car) and to buy health insurance. I did answer the other day and got the health insurance thing. It was the same thing someone else said earlier: it tells you at the last second "Press 2 if you'd like to be taken off our list" then it literally hangs up that second, so you don't even have a chance to hit 2. I have Verizon, and I am tired of these calls.

i keep getting these random calls from numbers like this and every time i hit the send button on my phone to pick it up they hang up immediatly before i can even say anything at all.  It really ticks me off because i get these callls at the worst times.

I have a missed call on my cell from this number from a few minutes ago.

I never answer if I don't recognize the number so the message went to my cell voicemail.  It said it was the last chance for me to receive car warranty coverage.  I recently bought a car with full coverage from the dealer.  I ignored the message.  Have been getting these types of calls since I bought the car.

This is actually a phishing scam. They want to get as much information as they can and will steal your identity. It calls from more than just this number. I reported it to the Federal Communication Commission who then sent me to the Federal Trade Commission who explained the situation to me. It is being handled. Do not, under any circumstances, give ANY information to these people. They can and will steal your identity. Also, they may call again. I've now been called 18 times over the past 2 months (I've been keeping track).

Same thing - couldn't get to my phone, looked at the number didn't recognize it, called the number back and it was busy.

It is a scam be careful because they will call you over and over i already reported them to the FCC another number that they use is 541-683-5282.  I get this call at least 6 times a week if you tell them that you are contacting the FCC they will hang up on you immediately

Got this call at 4:59 pm central on Tue Mar 17, 2009.   It was a recorded message about health insurance.  Hung up after 14 seconds.  Really ticks me off they are calling my cell and I have to pay for their call.  Looked up the number in on whitepages.com reverse directory.  Gave a number near Oshkosh Wisconsin:

I've been getting these calls at my home for a while now. And always let it go to answering machine, since the phone number is not one I recognize. Leaves automated message "Your Car Warrenty is about to expire...Last chance...."
At which point I talk back to my answering machine "Bu***hit, warrenty my backside my car is a 1991" (I get a chuckle even tho the calls are annoying).

What became more annoying is this dang thing started to call my Cell Phone number, and private at that. I did finally listen to the dang automated voice, till it said "If you do not wish to be on the call list, press 2" So I did. Thinking this would shut this stupid automated telemarketing thing up. It did not.

End result I still get calls at my home and cell phones from it and do not answer them.

I too just received another marketing call on my cellphone from this number - annoying.  Don't necessarily blame the person given on whitepages.com.  With some VOIP (i.e. internet calling) equipment, you can set whatever number you want to show as the caller ID.

I'm a freshman and I got a call from this number during school and my phone rang during class and my teacher who also is my football coach answered it and he told me "Since when did you started driving!?" These scammeds are dsperate for our information!!!!
