They called my cell a few minutes ago, I didn't pick b/c of unknown number, they didn't leave a message.

they called both me and my friend within an hour. We aren't related. We don't have the same phone companies and we aren't on the same plan... but we're both in the same room.

But yeah, it was some foreign voice, might have been spanish.

I got a call on my cell phone at 7:50 pm tonight, March 24, 2009.  I missed the call and decided to look it up.

I just got a call from this number.. but did not answer

My g/f and i got the same call within minutes.  i didnt answer but she did.  said it was a spanish speaking recording.  we have different cell phone companies, so it a little strange that we both got this call.  but i see i am not alone.....

i'm in florida. i just checked my cell and this number showed as a missed call. no voice message. i called the number and first it sounds like a fax modem then i got the recorded female voice saying that the number "has been disconencted" and "no further information is available about 920-993-9876." very weird. no point reporting ATT or FTC since neither will do anything about it. i've tried before and have been politely told to pound sand.

I got a call at 11:24 AM (CDT) on my cell phone. I live in Texas. I picked up assuming it was my friend's VOIP call. As soon as I said hello, a pre-recorded message started playing - it was mostly in Spanish. I registered a complaint at https://donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

an automatic voice speaking in spanish she said I won 1000 dolares and press 1 to claim it

This number is from a scam run out of a call centre in Cancun Mexico.

Got one of those calls in California on my cell last night.
Obviously a pre-recorded call, woman's voice speaking quickly, possibly in Spanish. As soon as I heard "dinero" I hung up.
My number is on the Do Not Call List, for whatever little that's worth.

This number along with apparently others have called. I have caller id on my cell as well as at home. I screen all calls. If there is no id I do not answer. If they do not leave a message I do not answer or call back. If someone picks up my phone and I don't know who they are then that person has to deal with them. They can learn the hard way to mind their own business. I report the numbers. It's no different than your computer. If you don't recognize it don't respond to it. Spam it. Look up the addresses and report them. If they are not willing to identify themselves up front then you don't want to deal with them. This one came from Wisconsin. Who the hell do I know In Wisconsin.

I received a call from (920)993-9876 and as I picked up I heard a very loud sound and then a spenish speaking person. I am with a VoIP company and I have the option to block calls like this. This is what I did...

Yes my spouse and I have received 2nd notice or final notice regarding bogus auto warrantees on each of our cell phones from the following numbers:  920-993-9876, 702-520-1338, 408-587-2132, 301-223-0106, 240-210-7101, 503-898-9988, 740-219-6946, 740-264-0077, 845-460-8989. We hang up as soon as we hear a few words.  Don't get any other automated spam calls.  Continuing to try to identify, report, and will call cell phone provider to see if we can get any help.  Been going on since January.  Please let us know if you have any solutions to stopping these as new random numbers keep coming.
