Same thing as others. Said they were from Windows. I said, oh what kind of computer do I have. They kept saying same thing. I could hear tv in the background. I kept telling them I didn't have a problem, they finally hung up.

Received call 5/05/12 from person with very strong accent, telling me that he received a report that my computer had crashed. I told him we had no problems with our computers, and asked what company he was calling from. He said, 'Windows'. I told him that was not a company name and I wanted to know the company where he was calling from. He kept repeating that he was calling back because he received a report that our computer had crashed and that we had lost all of our data. i put my husband on, and he told the person that we had not called anyone to report any problems, and we hung up...

got a call from this # and kept them talking, caller was overseas and trying to tell me my computer was at risk, very bad accent. Wanted personal info and i made up a lot of stuff that will keep him busy for a while!!!!

Scam call from "Microsoft technical support department", saying my computer was at risk.
Definitely of overseas origin... phishing for personal information.
Kept them talking as long as possible without giving any info out... then told them to put me on their do not call list, go home and kill themselves, because they are a very bad person.
I wished him a future of bad karma and then said good bye.
Hung up.
