I think they are cheaters and last time I got the same kind of SMS but they gave it in the name of airtel

-Please dont enter ur any details in that sites which as directly for your mobile number or any of your personal details. unless you trust that website. If you dont find any links in the website given in the message. then report it as spam and help others not to fall as victims.

I too got the same message from above mentioned number   sender name mentioned as TD.ONIDA  I request Onida management  to issue a paper statement regarding this false advertisement  and take necessary steps to catch the cheaters also take-up with Airtel,  who equally responsible by allowing such fake messages

I have got an unscrupulous message stating that "Dear customer, Janmastami ke absar pe onida advertising ke douran aapke mobile no pe apko diya jata hai Onida DVD player bilkul free. Plz login to www.onidadvd.com. Sender TD4ONIDA. MobileNo: +919250155008. Sent on Sept 1. 2010 {at} 12:38 Noon.

When I did login to the respective website, it asked my personal details such as mobile no. and address details. I don't know whether or not to provide the details. But I have provided as I am not aware of such malpractices.  When i was looking at www.onida.com site, on the very first screen they says that the kind of messages you got are unscrupulous and they bear no concern about this.  so I am very surprised to see such kind of unscrupulous message from this number.

Who is this bloody and why does this is being done.

What are they going to do with my personal details.
