Called and my grandma picked up, she stated she doesn't speak English and the man said "Oh come on!" And hung up. Tried to call back and number was disconnected

They tried to call me Wednesday | September 25, 2013 | 7:08 PM PDT | 9 seconds.  My call blocker stopped them from getting through.  All they heard was one ring, then 8 seconds of silence, than a hangup.  My phones won't even ring unless the call is from a number on my approved list of VIP and Invited numbers. (Thank you, Digitone Call Blocker 10!)

Where do they get my number! Same group of scammers selling things, phony calls, no answer calling 5 times a day

I get a call from this number every night a 830 pst as well.  Been going on for a month now.

About the only way to stop annoyance calls if you have Caller ID is by using an external call blocking device such as a Pro Call Block 2.0 or a Digitone Call Block.  If you have a computer with a modem that supports caller ID there are also software options but that would require the computer to be on 24/7.  There are also VoIP options such as Google Voice that have a full set of call blocking tools.

Have been getting calls from this number for months, mostly at night but this time at 10:00am.  They never leave a message and call at the most inoperative times.
I am also on the do not call list.  Is there any way to stop these type of calls??

Have been receiving phone calls from the same number and they just apologize for calling.  Very annoying. They call daily.

Cut off recorded message ending with "we sincerely apologize". Sick of these robo callers.

have been getting a call consistently for weeks from this number and we never answer because we don't want to talk at the time they typically call which is around or shortly after our family dinner time -
i just called the number back and they seem to be a telemarketing company selling tickets to "shows" that are "special offers" for families -
they say "family ticket shows for sale at $40.00 per family, presented and offered by local non-profit organizations and that they are exempted to the no call list"
they offer the caller an opportunity to get put on their "in-house" do not call list but one would need to leave a number and name - HA no way
well, they are now on my "blacklist" and will be blocked automatically - thank you ooma for this service that works very well in stopping annoying callers as such

I have been calls for weeks from this number with no message left on my voicemail....  I do not plan to answer it, because if it was someone I know or that needs to get a hold of me they should leave a message.  Really annoying!  Anyone find out who or what company this is....please post an update.

Answered and there wasn't anyone on the other end of the call. Caller ID just says Brentwood, CA.

Just got a call from this number.  No message. Just rang and then hung up.  Annoying!

Number keeps calling, says "sorry, please except our sincere apology" on the message left, but nothing else. I'm sure it's just another scam, despite being on Do Not Call list.

Have been getting cut-off messages in the evening from this number for the past 2 weeks or so.  The truncated message says "....we apologize for any inconvenience" ; our caller ID feature provides this number but I do not plan to call back the number.

They want you to call back and then there is no one to speak to. They are selling tickets IDK and said they were exempt from the do not call list .

Looks like an escort service. I got one, too.
