Heads up- now posting on craigslist as "Executive Assistant".
E-mail is:  liofnev@gmail.com - g-mail account says the name is "Jamie Forest"  but then switched to "David Nieves".

I applied for the "Executive Assistant" job and recieved the exact same e-mail as someone previously posted (art gallary in australia/ realestate/ needs someone to "ship things")- then was asked for personal information. Obviously a scam (or atleast something illegal), please don't send him any personal information!

Now posting on criagslist for office receptionist - then sends email requesting more info. new email he is using:

Don't do anything with the check. The way they get you is they send you a check that will be rejected in a few days. What they try and get you to do is send them a check back (out of the money they sent you) for something or send it to a business for payment (which is their business). Once the bank takes the amount of the cashiers check back out of your account after it is rejected, you just sent them X amount of your own money. IT IS A SCAM... they have many types of deals like this.

I got the same email but from a Powell Anderson that says he's out of town but will like to meet me when he comes back and that he's out on a business trip but before I knew any of that he the post says a office job and to send resumes now I'm freaked out I sent it with my address on it and got a check in the mail I'm not cashing now and is reporting him to the police

This is sad. I was on craiglist and he sent me the email also. Offering to pay me 300$ a week. I knew it was too good to be true and I should have done my research before I sent him any info on me. . Smh. He also sent me an email saying that there was going to be a check for me. . This is crazy. I'm going to give him a piece of my mind. And the number he is currently using is 916-751-1428. .

I just saw this thread and thank god b i almost sent my reply back to "andrew hayes" with all of my personal information! i thought something seemed weird about it..he offered me 1200 a month for only 5 hours of work a week....well thats bumming..iv ben hunting for work for months and really got my hopes up about this..btw hes using the number  916-751-1428 now

Omg you guys same thing here i had a gut feeling about this i got a letter from " bonnie williams" saying owing him money. I am kinda creeped i received 3 diffrent guys one with a chinese name and some other guy on the other guy i told him i didnt have a bank account and he never responded. Sould i go to the police. Ive also received same emails never talked to him. Im going to the cops f*** this i aint letting no one mess with me. So if your with me reportes before he gets to us.. Ugh and tell me why he asks for gender and age.

He sent me the same thing guys I wish we could find him because he is a true SCAM artist. When he automatically sent me and email asking for my personal info I knew that something was not right so I gave him an address to a postbox I have and I never received a thing. Smh! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFO TO ANY ONE THROUGH THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Especially to anyone named ANDREW HAYES.

Since you have a check in hand I would call your local police department and ask them who would handle this.  If they are no help here is the link to file a complaint.  http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

'Hello,

My name is Andrea, I have been instructed by your boss Mr Andrew Hayes to contact you as a result of the debt i'm owing him.
As soon as you receive the payment at hand, I will like you to contact him via e-mail [solutionstechs@porambonise.net] and confirm to him that you have received the payment, so that you can get further instructions from him.

It's all a scam. The money orders/checks are counterfeit. Even if you didn't make it yourself, you can be held liable for cashing counterfeit financial documents. Beware. This guy is banking on you being foolish enough to actually deposit the money and wire it elsewhere, but the accounts and documents are all fake.

What name did he tell you?  He told me andrew hayes i feel like an idiot..... Just trying to pay my student loan now i have to pay his money

I got the same e-mail late last night. It's not my dream job or anything but his e-mail didn't match the ad I applied for on Craigslist so I googled his name to see if any scams came up. I found this site.

Same thing here. I feel like an idiot and now this disease has my info. Can we do something about this to prevent it from happening to any more people? I think you can report scams and fraud to the district attorney

I got the same e-mail last night  and I knew this job was too good to be true. It's scary knowing that this person has my resume with my name and address. Has anything else happened to anyone else since they were contacted by this guy? What can I do to make sure he doesn't further scam me?

I too recieved the same emails and same sort of thing going on.  I thought it too was a dream job until reading this thread.  I've been holding on to a checks for over two weeks and feel like it is a scam.  What names are you guys seeing on the cashier's checks?  Did anyone contact the authorities?  What bank did you receive money orders from?  What part of the country was the address on the money order from?

This is a scam, and this guy is a criminal trying to steal money. The cashier's check he sends are counterfeit, and he will ask you to cash it out and wire to London. Please be careful. The emails came from Andrew Hayes at solutiontechs@porambonise.net
