I received a call yesterday.  I called back and received a busy tone.  I tried again today and it was answered by the Contra Costa Times.  They were calling to let people in my neighborhood know that they were going to distribute free newspaper over the next week.  I told them i already was a subscriber and to never again call me with any type of solicitation.  They said they would put me on their do not call list.

Constantly getting called by them. I am on the do not call list. Have told them to stop calling me. And how would they know what neighborhood I live in because the number they keep calling me on is my cell phone and it's not linked to my address. Personally I think it's a scam.

They called me at 7am so I didn't answer. Just called again at 7:59pm so I answered figuring it was a friend with a new number - just breathing on the line. No message left this morning, no response this evening.

I must get called from this number at least twice per week, sometimes more.  They never leave a message and I am on the do not call list!!  If it is the CC Times, I cancelled my subscription last spring and told them not to call me.

HOLY COW...how can these guys keep calling when you're on the no call list?  Isn't that illegal?  They don't even answer when I call them back to yell at them.  This is rediculous!

These people are Calling my Cell phone, Saying: You've been Approved for 4 weeks of free newpaper? I ain't dum, Nor Am i Giving out my Address over the Phone like a Dummie. I wasn't Born Yesterday Or Last week. I've been Around a very long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY CALL EVERYDAY When is this going 2 stop. I'm thinking about Contacting my Local Police Dept. If it doesn't stop

two calls so far today from this number, dead line when answered.  I have a new phone number for me, I have registered it with the do not call list but is too soon probably for that to be in effect, probably won't help with this problem anyway.
caller id says CFM in front of phone number.

these a**hole call me every day. ive hollered at there dumb assess telling them that the next time they call me that i am gona blow a whistle in the goddamn ear. dont they get it , we dont want there paper anymore. also told them i was gona get a lawyer and that didnt stop them.

How do I stop this caller?

Keep calling my cell # no message......answer, no one there............& the same when calling # back...agents busy please hold or call back.  Searched for # & shows land line in Antioch Ca. didn't want to pay the money for the details, but might if this continues.

i called and it said all agents were busy and please hold... the operater sounded hispanic...then the music played the song "the tide is high... im gonna be your number one im not the kinda girl who gives up just like that... oh nol"

Got a call from this number.....called them back just out of curiosity after reading the posts. It was outsourcing for my local newspaper. I live in SW PA. I just told them I had renewed my subscription by mail, and they said they would take me off the list. Since I have done business in the past with the local newspaper, and these people are acting as agents, I am not sure that being on the DoNotCall.gov list counts. Entities that you have done business with can call you, even if you are on the Do Not Call list.

This person called me just right now, and they were all like, Sweetie, where are your parents? I need to talk to them, this is important. And i'm like, my parents aren't home right now, who is this? she said: Are there any adults around you that I can talk to? This is important. I'm like: ummm...I don't have any adults around me that speak english, who is this?? She says: Oh, well what language do they speak? Spanish? I say: NO, they speak chinese! who is this?? She says: Chinese? O.k. Thankyou. and hangs up on me...wtf was this about??

Same thing for me... There needs to be a way to electro shock the caller :)

I got a call from this number today, 1/22. Around 7:20pm. I said "hello" a couple times but no answer and I hung up.

Received many many calls from this number.  As it is an unknown number to me, I don't answer it and the caller does not leave any messages.

I must add I am on the do not call list and yet I receive their calls.

We have been getting so many calls from this number.  Many times a day, every single day of the week.  I never answer any of their calls and they never left a single message.  Thank goodness for caller ID.

THEY HAVE CALLED ME TWICE AND HANG UP AS SOON AS i ANSWER.  I am on the do not call list.  I thought it was a fine if they solicit you.

I keep getting a call from this number once in the morning around 9:30 a.m. and twice in the evening.  I answer the call and no one answers.  The call in the evening are around 7:30 then 8:30.

it would be funny were it not so pathetic.  I stopped taking this paper because the delivery was so haphazard - apparently so is their marketing.

Second time this has happened and when I call back it's ALWAYS busy!
