I just received the e-mail listed above.. WOW... talk about getting goose bumps.. too bad it is fake... I could really use the funds right now and I would LOVE to be able to help my church build a building. We currently meet in the local Arts Center/ Theatre.  I thought God had answered a prayer for a minute there.  :)

Ahhhhhh, the old Nigerian Scam....    They also have the father, brother, uncle, husband as a banker, military, leader of a junta who needs to transfer the money to the States.  They will send you a check, money order, bank check for you to deposit in your account if you will send a international money order for X amount to them.....  your check has cleared for them but their check bounces in your account and you are out what you sent them.  

Most times theses scams were sent from internet cafes anywhere in the world...   The email to James has a US area code while the one to Dude has a UK country code.  Smart group as they are now tying the location of the hospital to the correct telephone code.

In the US government agencies will not do anything until you lose money.  I don't believe that anyone has had their money recovered.  

When you meet an aggressive 'salesperson' remember what I had been taught ---  there is a different between want and need ------  you have worked hard for 'your' money and you have to work just as hard to keep it.
