After receiving numerous calls to my home land line and answering it with no response from them, I called them back.  They said they were a "private party" and wanted to know if I was having financial trouble with my mortgage.  Regardless of whether I am or not, I wouldn't proceed with a company that only identifies themselves initially with "private party."  I told them to take me off their call list.  We'll see.  If I get calls tomorrow, I'll call them and tell them again and that it will be reported.

I just recently added a home phone line to my house. I haven't even given the number out yet, but from 10 minutes after it was hooked up, I was receiving calls. I want them to stop, it's becoming incredibly annoying. I receive at least 5-10 calls a day from this number, and each time they either hang up, or say nothing.

This number keeps calling my parents house asking for someone who doesn't live there, someone who none of our family has ever heard of in our lives. I've asked them to take the number out of the system several times, let them know it was the wrong number and even called back to figure out what they were looking for out of courtesy to help them find who they were looking for. They call several times a day still and don't answer when I call back. How do I get this harassment to stop, this is not how any company or calling center should run.

These calls are a form of harassment through Citi Mortgage, first they have 818-812-3080 call you for a couple years, then after complaining or blocking that number, this number begins the harassment. It is Citi Mortgage foreclosure attackers. They have your house back on their asset list and that's not enough. You may have lost your job, had a serious illness or even death, but they laugh at human misery and want to make lives just a little worse than it is. Citi Mortgage loves to play games like this. Ignore them if you can or send as many complaints as you can. It is an evil company.

the company is called mediation group.  they just call me and when i answered the person hung up.  i called back and a recording comes on and tells you "if you know your party's 4 digit ext. please dial it now or wait for the next avalible rep."  i waited and the rep answered "mediation group", i simply asked him to remove my number from their list and he confirmed my number and name and told me that i was removed.

I'm a victim of these non-stop, on-going intrusions FROM THIS AND NUMEROUS OTHER NUMBERS TOO.  Both my landline and cell have been on the Do Not Call list for years and renewed frequently too.  I have been reporting endlessly to my carrier for both of my numbers (both the same carrier). I've exceeded blue and am moving toward a bright shade of anger red in my face as the calls keep coming in and it's not my carriers fault but I need their assistance somehow.  I have even contact the media such as the news magazine and investigative reporters to look into this. I was thinking of writing a column on Newser as with my account on Newser, the public is allowed to compose newsworthy articles for posting purposes.  I just can't be fighting alone though.  I'm also informed by the FCC that I could be rewarded $1,500 per incident reported (see below).  Who has the time to document all of this stuff?  Please see the FCC's letter to me copied for you to see below.  Feel free to use it's insight and copy and paste it as desired.  Perhaps if half the planet were to speak up, then we MIGHT get this on-going nuisance to stop finally.

Thank you for contacting the FCC regarding possible violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (?TCPA?) and the Commission?s telemarketing and junk fax rules.   Information provided in consumer complaints like yours helps the Commission to combat abusive or unlawful practices in these areas, including taking enforcement actions against individuals or companies. In this regard, the Communications Act authorizes the Commission to issue citations and, in some cases, impose substantial fines upon entities that violate telemarketing and junk fax rules.
