My phone number isn't posted on my car's selling ads. WHat's worse than these scum bags, is Auto Trader selling out our numbers to them. There is a spot that says do not display number in ad. When he called he just asked, "are you selling the BMW", and I asked "how did you get my number, it isn't posted anywhere", and he hung up.

I did a fair bit of checking on this company after receiving a call. They apparently have changed company names a couple of times due to complaints. It is true, if they don't sell your vehicle in the specified time, you get your cash back. HOWEVER, in order to get a refund, you have to follow a certain procedure within a specified time frame. The problem is that it is almost impossible to meet all of the criteria so they end up keeping your hard earned dough and you end up with nothing to show for it. The worst part is that these people actually have people willing to work for them and scam people. I peg these people as being one step lower on the morality scale than a child molesting crack w***e.

have been getting calls from this #. No messages because I don't have voicemail. I did not ick it up sdince I get charged for long distance incoming calls. Does anyone know who this is?

Posted a car for sale on Cars.com and craigslist.  Used my cell umber in the ad.  All of a sudden, I get a call from the same number 925-418-3224.  Two calls about 30 minutes apart - no message left either time.

Just called back.  Sure enough...  It was a scam related to selling my car on Craigslist/Cars.com.  Claimed to be from Allied Auto Group.  They wanted me to give them a 'refundable' $500 over the phone to place my car with them.  Obvious scam.

I asked the man that called me if he was trying to sell me a package to sell my car .He said I was a a%@ H*^#e and hung up.

Posted my car on Craigslist/Cars.Com.  Used my cell number.  Got two missed calls, then answered on the 3rd one.  Claimed to be from Allied Auto Group.  A woman (pleasant and legitimate sounding enough) asked me to pay $500 to have them place my car.  Obvious scam.  I hung up as soon as she asked for the money.

You sir are a moron. I can assure you that the only people you are driving nuts is your family members who are trying to make a phone call around your pointless antics.
PLEASE do not mistake this for any sort of an attempt to make you stop calling that number, in fact it would make me pleased to know that you continue calling a dead line.
The simple fact is sir you are not an evasive pest but a misguided fool.
Everytime you add an additional call to your master plan, that incessant ringing that YOU have to deal with is the only ringing being heard. Not because you are on mute, not because there is somebody in charge of hitting the ignore button, But because you sir are a big enough imbecile to continually call a non-existant number.
Thats right, 925-418-3224, is an outgoing line generated from online software much like the software used on your google phone that you are so fond of.

I GOT A CALL FROM THEM LAST WEEK ASKING ME ALL THE DETAILS THAT WERE ALREADY IN THE AD AND THEN WHEN HE ASKED IF I HAD FINAL SAY ON THE  PRICE I TOLD HIM IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOURGONNA OFFER ME FOR OUR TRUCK HE GOT VERY MAD AND VERY RUDE WITH ME.  AND HE CALLED BACK TODAY AND WHEN I ANSWERED HE HUNG UP INSTANTLY

The assh**s called he again today to ask "me questions" about the car. I replied "didn't you read my ad - all of the details are in the ad". She hung up...they still call me, except everytime I answer I screww around with them. Tell then the wheels are missing....there is a dog that lives in the trunk...etc.

Phoned me and I had a bad connection.  I had to say hello 3 times then I heard him say #@$% old people...I'm 40.  then he hung up.  Same number called a 20 minute later asking about the RV I had 4 sale and that she was calling for a friend.  I said ya well  your friend call me 20 minutes ago and swore at me.  She said oh no that couldn't have been him. Losers....

The a***oles have called 2 times today no answer when I say "hello"....I tried to call the number back and it hangs up on me in 8sec. These losers need to get a clue. No one wants to be bothered by them.

Have my truck listed on cars.com and autotrader.com, got a phone call from this scum bag. Said he is a broker, and had a buyer looking for the truck I was selling, willing to pay $3,000 more than my listing price. I've heard of broker services for vehicles in Europe, but not in the U.S. so I was skeptical. I played along for a while, until he asked me for $495 to secure the deal, fully refundable of course. I said "So you want me to just give you $495 over the phone, before the customer has even seen the truck? You're crazy". He laughed and hung up. Scum bag.

Called about my add in the autotrader, guy is a complete do***ebag. He just got really angry when I asked him who I was speaking with. He hung up on me after that.

It is a scam, got my number off cars.com.  The guy was an a-hole and started talking sh*t to me immediately when I asked him if he was a private buyer.

Just got a call from this number.. Turns out they claim to be a financial company that gives loans to people to purchase your car. They charge you an upfront fee of $500..but you can negotiate it down to $250.. (strange).. and then they market your vehicle..if it doesn't sell.. you "get your money back"..

When I asked to get something in writing first..before just giving out my credit card number they hung up...  huge signs of a scam. Be aware..!

Scam! These scum bags scour the autotrader and call. they always ask what is the mileage when it is clearly in the ad. simply ask them if they are a private buyer before you answer their question if your car is still for sale. When they say they are a reseller, just hang up.

I call their phone number and let it ring and ring...I use a google phone so they cannot trace me whatsoever. it drives them nuts.
