So here is the information on the company calling you and a telephone number for the owner's cellphone. Feel free to give him a call and a piece of your mind... Maximum Security Alarm / Sacramento / Andrew Higgins. Maximum Security Alarm, based out of Sacramento, California (1010 Hurley Way, Suite 525, Sacramento, CA 95825). Owned and ran by Andrew Higgins, his [removed:lang] brother David Higgins and their [removed:lang] father Dennis Higgins. Is just one of many scams this Higgins family and their friends have been doing for a long time, at least 8 years for this company. The awful things they do on a regular basis are just way too much for me to mention and invest any additional time into. They have the most complaints for any alarm company and probably any company for that matter and they wouldn't have this many complaints, especially back to back to complaints unless it were all true. Save yourself a hassle and don't do business or interact with these people on any level. You can reach the owner Andy Higgins on his cellphone @ 916-223-6311. He will tell you that his company in no way calls people on the Do Not Call Registry. I believe that's a lie because if you google Maximum Security Alarms and look at a few of the RipOff Reports and such, you will see action has been taken against them for doing just that. The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government's allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On February 5, 2013, the State of Missouri filed a petition for preliminary and permanent injunctions, restitution, civil penalties and other court orders against Maximum Security Alarm. The petition alleges, in part, that Maximum Security Alarm engaged in a pattern of outbound telephone calls violating Missouri's No-Call List Laws by contacting telephone lines placed on Missouri's Telemarketing No-Call List in an attempt to solicit customers for home security systems. The petition also alleges that Maximum Security Alarm caused the telephone to ring repeatedly in an annoying, abusive or harassing manner by soliciting consumers after they had made known they did not wish to receive calls and utilized methods to circumvent caller identification services. The petitions seeks to enjoin Maximum Security Alarm from making telephone solicitations to those who have placed themselves on Missouri's No-Call List, require MSA to pay $5,000 per violation of the No-Call List Laws, pay the state for all investigative and prosecution costs, and to pay the State of Missouri an amount equal to 10 percent of the total restitution ordered against Defendant. This matter is currently pending. Caller: Maximum Security Systems Call Type: Telemarketer

Andrew Higgins has been playing this scam for years. Google his name and Maximum Security and you will see he's been denying the continued calling for at least the past 4 years. He is in my opinion a LIAR and now that people have his number (literally) he whines like a baby...complains people are threatening him, his family and his business. Old saying Andypoo....If you can't stand the heat get out of the fire. You bring this upon yourself by skirting the laws and bothering people.
Andy's cell number is [removed]. He will deny his company calls anyone but I believe he lies like a rug. I intend to call this number 10 times for every call I get from his crappy alarm company.
Also if you google his name, you'll find he's been sued at least 4 times by HP and others for not paying bills....low life scum of the earth.

Forget talking, these scum are using a voice-activated response system. It sounds like a real person, but you're just talking to a recording. Good luck getting taken off any lists, file a complaint with the donotcall registry, though, just for giggles. I don't think anyone actually pays any attention to the complaints filed on donotcall.gov, but at least it makes you feel better.

Will be notifying my state attorney general office tomorrow. Dnc list complaints don't work and neither do FCC complaints. Your state's AG is the only office with the power to bring hear scumbags down.
File all complaints with them. Print and forward a copy
Of This website too. The more info they get the more likely their company will be sued. I really hope it's GE. I can't stand that outsourcing, no tax paying, anti USA piece of craap company!!

FINALLY I tracked down these jerkwads....you can reach them by dialing 925-420-1419 and hitting 1. You will be directed to a human who will try to sell you on a "free" alarm system which you pay a monthly charge for monitoring. The company is Maximum Security Alarms and the call center is located at 1010 Hurley Way, Suite #525, Sacramento, California 95825. A second number for them which is their operations center and will be answered by a human (Rebecca among others) is 916-437-0900. They are very helpful in that the telemarketers that have no regard for the law, the do not call registry or your time are the idiots in Sacramento.
If you have been relentlessly harassed by this company, feel free to give them a call. If you plan to be aggressive over the phone (I'm not suggesting that), I would recommend you dial *67 first so that your number is not displayed on their caller ID. Kind of like the same crap they do to us.
Let's give them a little of their own medicine and perhaps they will finally get the message.

These jokers have a new scam now dealing with medical alert systems. You can call them and reach a human being direct at 573-568-7760. I "bribed" one of their telemarketers with the offer of a fake job in order to get that number so please feel free to call these idiots and give them a piece of your mind.
Maria 2013-05-03 22:56:40 Unknown
I have asked to be removed 7 times now and they keep calling.
I am getting annoyed and will be filing a formal complaint.
What don't they understand? NO means NO!

This # (925) 420-1419 AND now (909) 259-0312 call me about the exact same thing. A pre-recorded message from "Tim" about the lawn signage. Don't know how they got our numbers, but the best thing to do is put the contact # in your phone as "DO NOT ANSWER".
Granma 2013-05-01 23:49:04 Unknown
I get calls on a regular basis, maybe a couple a week. I don't answer any more but it is irritating nonetheless. What happened to the no-call list anyway?

These people use robo callers to try to get you to buy a "free" home security system. The free system costs only $39.00/month on a long term contract and apparently the system they install is junk.
Robo calling is illegal especially when directed to people on the Do Not Call Registry. You can't stop them but you can have some fun with them. Hit *67 on your phone and then call back 925-420-1419. Press 1 to reach a live telemarketer. They will immediately ask "Are you the homeowner interested in a home security system?". Tell them yes and then ask the girl if she's fingering herself or tell her you are masturbating and ask her to talk dirty to you. It wastes their time (they waste yours) and you can get a chuckle or two LOL.

---> Connie Jones pleaded, "stop calling me!!!!" <---
Ain't gonna happen.
(1) Who are you, and how can we be sure it's you?
(2) What number do you want the caller to stop calling?
Most importantly,
(3) What makes you think that someone who has anything to do with this site is calling you?
Use your brains, people.
A. Nonie Mouse 2013-04-29 18:15:47 Unknown
---> "This number keeps calling my cell phone, does anyone know how to make it stop?" <---
Yes. You can turn off your cell phone. That works for every cell phone provider.
Otherwise, there is no universal answer that works with all cell phone providers. You could at least help us by telling us which cell phone provider you have and approximately where (at least, which country) it is you are located. Better yet, instead of having someone else tell you, why don't you call your own cell phone provider and ask them yourself?
