calling daily, never leaves a message
Margaret 2012-01-05 14:30:43 Unknown
Um, you could ask them to put you on their Do Not Call list. They called my company constantly and I asked them last week to put us on their do not call list and they've actually complied....so far.

Call from Panda Security. They want you to sit through an online demo of their cloud-based anti-virus software. You can see what it is all about at www.forgetsecurity.com.

Calls multiple times daily - Panda Security - asked to not call any more, lets see if that works.

Just got the hang up vmail.
This is same modus operandi of telemarketing groups subcontracted by Harte Hanks ... They've been a-holes this way for 7+ years now, but I don't know who is behind this particular group.

I'll be sending them another reminder to leave me alone. Last one I sent, got a call back and an apology from a native english speaker. That was 3 years ago ...

Caller had a very heavy accent and really really wanted to get my email address. I just hung up on them.

LOL, you sound like an advertisement yourself. Sounds like you need to start selling call blocking phones. It's definitely frustrating.

Have had 10 calls from this number, all leave me a 40 second blank voicemail.

Rcvd call today to my work line, Mike from Panda Security, tried really hard to get me to give me a date and time that would work to do a gotomeeting and advise them the pros and cons of their product, advised I am not the one they need to talk to but they did not seem to understand and really wanted my email address.
Hung up them.

Let's be clear, per the Do Not Call act, businesses are not allowed to register, it is a consumer protection only. You may register cell phones, though.
The DNC list does work, not 100% but in my experience it's been pretty good.

CALLED MY OFFICE 12:44pm 8/31/11
THE CALL WENT TO VM BUT NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT.
I HAVE BLOCKED THEIR CALL.
TO EVERYONE:
+++++++BEING ANGRY OR UPSET WILL NOT HELP YOU!!!!
*********YOU MUST BE PRO-ACTIVE!!!++++++
PLEASE READ BELOW!
FACT 1 - the DNC list CLEARLY does not work! Everyone knows this...or should know this!
FACT 2 - filing a complaint with the FCC does not work! A total and complete waste of time. Done that.
FACT 3 - having an unlisted phone will not help you.
FACT 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list ? you?ll get laughed at!
FACT 5 - no "class action" law suits are being filed and certainly, none are being LITIGATED.
FACT 6 ? contacting the BBB ? LAUGHABLE!!! The BBB is a corrupt organization that sells their ratings to the highest bidder.
*********QUIT BEING FRUSTRATED OVER TELEMARKETER CALLS! ********
*******************QUIT BEING A VICTIM!!! *****************
PLEASE DO THIS! PURCHASE A CALL BLOCKING TELEPHONE!!!
Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset. Very, very convenient.
***********DON'T GET MAD ? HIT BACK! ************
STOP BEING ANNOYED
STOP BEING A VICTIM.
STOP COMPLAINING!
BUY A CALL BLOCKING PHONE!
Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones. They?re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset. COSTCO & AMAZON SELL THEM.
They work beautifully! These phones also block
?PRIVATE,? ?OUT OF AREA? and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable. I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS. THEY CAN?T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.
**********NOTHING ELSE WILL STOP THESE TELEMARKETERS! *********

They call my business several times a week, mainly not there when i answer, when someone is there the language is not understandable. Annoying. Have requested them to remove us from their calling list. But, no joy, they continue to call.

Received this call on the work number at 9:30am EST. Caller ID came up as California. I answer with my usual "'Thank you for calling Blah Blah. How may I help you?" A woman goes this is Blah Blah?" I said "Yes it is. How may I help you?" She asks to speak to the computer department and I retorted that I could try and help her with that. And she says "How many computers do you have?" I said "Who ARE you and why are you calling?" She said her name is Samantha and she is calling from Panda. I asked what she is calling about and she said "Your network." and I said "What network?" and she said" Your computer network". I asked her the name of her company again and asked her to spell it so that I could make sure I was understanding what she was saying. Then I asked her again why she was calling and she hung up. These calls are such a waste of time. As with a lot of others we are also on the Do Not Call List and we have never done business with these companies but they still call.

This company has been calling us multiple times per day for the past week. First they ask to speak to the manager, then to the IP department, then to any IP professional. Usually it comes up as "California" on the caller ID. This last one came up as "Unavailable". So it looks like they're trying to trick us into thinking they're someone else.

Call daily and hang up when I answer. borderline harrassment!
Jessica 2011-07-28 16:58:48 Unknown
They've called my office every day this week. A Christina from Panda Security, when I let her know we don't use a "Panda Security" she hangs up. Waste of my time. Scam.
The Gatekeeper 2011-07-21 16:46:30 Unknown
Not sure about this one; I'll keep tabs on it. Seems to be telemarketing / spam, most likely. I've sent them to voicemail and they won't leave a message, so I won't be answering.
MikeF 2011-07-19 20:32:58 Unknown
Calls from this number started on 7/8/2011, to my business phone number. Caller ID says "CALIFORNIA". I've never answered. They never leave a message. I've received 8 calls in 11 days (once every business day, but not on the weekends).
JTJ 2011-07-14 19:28:05 Unknown
Received solicited call every days

Three times today - no message left on voicemail - on the second call they tried going through my company's switchboard to get to me.

Calling it back seems to give a 1-800 number that connects to Qwest Customer Service.
