This number calls several times a day. When I answered and got someone they offered to refinance my mortgage. When I told them I refinanced less than a year ago the guy changed his tactic and said that they modify mortgages. I said I did not need my mortgage modified. The guy said "That's not what your bank tells us." I asked to speak with his manger and he said "No" and hung up on me.

I re-registered for the do not call list because of this 3rd party mortgage mod company that calls and acts like your bank hired them. These folks are not hired by your bank. They are mortgage hyenas & scavengers. They call 3 times a week if you are on their list.

call operations back and all your doing is verifying a live phone number to call.. Never push any buttons either, thats just doing the same thing, verifying they have a live number! Best thing to do is not answer numbers you don't know or recognize, pick up and hang up asap..

Very aggressive telemarketer, they are trying to modify our home loan. We never asked for their assistance neither did we provide any information about our lender. They claim that the lender shared our personal information. When we pressed them on this matter and couldn?t believe that a Bank would provide this info without our consent. Then their story changed stating that the information was gathered from the National Lawsuit against the big Banks. Very deceptive telemarketing practices and when pressed for accuracy they hang up. SLIME BALLS.

Some mortgage company National ....something. I said I am on the do not call registry and he responded "no" I said "yes" and hung up!

Purchase a cordless phone with call block capabilities (Uniden and Panasonic are two brands I know of) or an external call blocking device. Google Call Blocking Device to see what is out there. Models exist which can block up to 1500 numbers, whole area codes, by callerID name etc. The phones usually ring once for a blocked call then disconnect while the external blockers do not even ring your phone.
