I am online searching for my old friend (and top-notch lawyer) A. Jahren.  Please folks, rest assured that A. Jahren would never phone anyone repeatedly.  Indeed, that is her old telephone number BEFORE she moved several years ago.  She now lives in a completely different county.  These awful crank calls have nothing to do with a person named A. Jahren. You have my word.

Got a call. Answered and they hung up.

I am getting at least 10 calls a day from this number.  I dial it right back and it says
it is disconnected....but they keep calling me.  Same as above comments; no one there
or a hang up when  I say hello.  Who can I call to stop these?

Hi All, the number 925-806-0890 appears to have been subject to what is called "Caller ID Spoofing". You can find information about this on wikipedia and the FCC website. Someone appears to have entered this number as their caller ID although they are calling from a different number. The calls are not actually coming from the line associated with 925-806-0890.

As soon as I learned about this, I called AT&T and they came out on Saturday and put a busy signal on the line, but, were not able to disconnect the line till Sunday due to office being closed for the weekend. The AT&T service tech who was out reviewing the line to make sure that calls were not being made from this also intercepted some of the incoming calls from people who had received calls while he was connected to that phone line to try to gather information.

I would be as upset as you are if I were receiving numerous calls with no person on the other line. And, I don't like that my number has been used by someone else. AT&T has not provided me with information as to the identity of the actual caller who has used 925-806-0890 as caller ID. So, anything you can do to help would be much appreciated.

I am sick of these calls.  Even if I answer on the first ring, nothing is said. Caller ID shows a 1 in front of the number.  Now, my phone is blocked but it rings only a half ring.  I even got calls on Sunday.  They come all day. What is the point? I am today filing a complaint with the FCC and submitting a copy of the above comments and information.  I thank whoever exposed this person.

Correction: I just called the number 925-806-0890 and now it states that the number is disconnected. They have called more than 20 times this week, and never have left a message.............Well I just picked up the phone twenty seconds later and left a very terse message with the woman on the other end. I SPECIFICALLY asked what was the purpose of the phone call. They said it was political candidate JOAN BUCHANAN. She just lost my vote. Now I'm planning to contact her office directly, and urge you all to do the same. OH! Most impotantly when you call the number back you get the recording that the number has been disconnected. Apparently it was DISCONNECTED two minutes before the bi****s called again, and I picked up. Auto dialing to their hearts content, with no concern for the people they are irritating all hours of the day. If this was a mortgage company doing this they would be shut down!

I had seven calls from this number over the past weekend, after the paper delivery guy tried to force my front door.  Related?

I've been receiving at least 5 - 6 calls per day from this number with hang ups. Very annoying.

have received 4 or 5 Calls today from that number with the same A Jahran name, then later today I have received 2 more call with San Ramon as the name.  I dont answer them anymore.

We have gotten about 8 calls from this number in the last 24 hours. There is never any one there.  I called back and at first it was busy.  Now it says the number is disconnected.  It's ANNOYING!

Joan Buchanan more than likely (see my post below).

I have been getting a call from this number about 4-5 times a day for the last week. After reading this post, I finally answered it today and it is a political call. I was asked if I will be voting for Joan Buchanan on election day. If you don't answer your phone, you will be called repeatedly until you do. Just get it over with if you are on their list.

Just saw posts above about Joan Buchanan...will call and complain right now. And NO VOTE for Joan Buchanan!!

The first call from this number came a few nights ago and the young man asked for my husband. The caller wasn't polished: "Ah yea, is (insert my husband's name here) home?" After seeing it on our Caller ID list for several days in a row, I did try to call the number and it's "disconnected." Another call came in today and I answered and she told me that it's "election-related." After asking to be put on their Do Not Call List, I was told that the only way that she could do that is if I answer the first question on their list. Really? Who is the local politician who's hired this unbelievably bad telemarketer that is using fake, disconnected phone numbers ("Private Caller" with this number on Caller ID) and bad manners. Who?

Read the post above.  The person who called me works for Joan Buchanan.  Call the number on the website and complain.   I hope everyone does this.

I just got another call from the number. They asked if I was going to vote for Joan Buchanan in the upcoming election. I said not if I receive another one of these calls. Good news!  They just called again and I found out that it's for a campaign for Joan Buchanan in the SF East Bay.   I told the caller that many, many people are furious and that they need to relay this information right away.  I WILL NOT be voting for Joan Buchanan and I urge anyone who is harrassed by this caller to not vote for her.

Received 2 calls then tried calling back and it was busy. I blocked the calls because they are coming in daily about 10 per day. Will be contacting my connections in the federal gov. to find out what's going on.

I have gotten 3-4 today from this number and 7-8 in my recent caller history ( I was away this weekend). After reading this I've decided to answer the next time it rings and see what I can find out.

I have received at least seven calls per day in the last week. I am tired of it and taking action with my phone provider as I type this. Something really needs to be done!!!!! Also I am contacting the national do not call directory.

I've been getting severals calls a day from this number for over a week. Don't pick up but no recording is made.  It's extremely annoying.

I spent the $9.95 to get info from Intelius.  She goes by Ann-Kitt Jahren, Ann K. Jahren and A. Jahren.  The only phone number I could get was 925-806-0872.  The address was on Rosario Ct. in San Ramon, CA., 94583-2125.

If anyone can talk to her, please tell her to knock off the call and hang-up routine.  If it continues, I'll contact the FCC.

This number started phoning me again today. At one point, a person was actually on the line. He claims to be doing a survey about or for Joan Buchanan. I asked to speak with his manager, to let them know that all of us are being bothered my these multiple calls, etc. The woman manager hung up on my complaint.
