It's actually Health Information Portability and Accountability Act. So it is HIPAA and not HIPPA.

Got a call from this number yesterday, no message left, called it back thinking it might be a friend or family member's number, all I get it a busy tone after several attempts.

No msg was left.  I have applied for senior advantage Medicare coverage and thought maybe they are trying to reach me

Got call from this automated Kaiser reminder to go to the lab. Since I just visited the lab some two weeks back, I called the lab about it and was told there was no such order from my doctor. I called my doctor's office and was told the same. This is a spam.

Understand the HIPPA stuff, but KAISER (yes, really IS them) should use a # that is recognizable. Msgs r unecessary. They should list company name (not "private") AND use usual prefix(es) (423 used in Hawaii 4 non-appt reminder extentions) instead of making us use 3rd party services 2 determine call origin. If IS a HIPPA issue, y r calls fr ALL other Kaiser dpts using that recognizable prefix? B consistant pls, Kaiser!

It is Kaiser! The 4th result listed on Google was the KP website referring to their reminder service and it mentions this phone number. The call goes out 4 days before your appt. After I read that I remembered that I do have the eye doc scheduled. Phew- thought it was a debt collector or scam!

Did not leave message...hung up, Bad business.

If it is Kaiser and they are concerned about patient confidentiality, perhaps they should figure out a better system of reminding people about their appointments. It is frustrating to receive calls from them and get a busy signal when you call back. It takes forever to talk to a live person if you try calling them.

I just  got a call from (925)926-7627. Didn't recognize the number so  I let it go to voicemail. No one left a message. Googled the number and got this site. Very helpful now  I know it's Kaiser.

They left a message on my voice mail that eyeglasses were ready for pickup.

I complained to Kaiser about this. They said that, because my voice mail doesn't give  my name when they reach my number that they can't leave any information because of HIPPA rules

#1: MYSELF AND MY WIFE ARE NOT MEMBERS OF KAISER PERMANENTE HMO. NEVER HAVE BEEN, NEVER WILL BE.

#2: WHY DOES THE CALLER ID ALWAYS READ "K. PERM"E"NENTE" AND NOT "K. PERM"A"NENTE?" (WWW.KP.ORG)

#3: ROBO/AUTO DIALERS DON'T SIMPLY TURN THEMSELVES ON AND START DIALING TELEPHONE NUMBERS.  THERE ALWAYS HAS TO BE SOME SORT OF "HUMAN" INPUT INTO THESE BRAINLESS/MINDLESS MACHINES JUST LIKE THE PEOPLE WHO OPERATE THEM.

#4: I HAVE HAD AREA CODE 925 BLOCKED ON MY DIGITONE CALL BLOCKER 10 SINCE FEBRUARY 2011 BECAUSE OF THE HUGE NUMBER OF CRANK CALLS.

Yes, it is Kaiser.  They always leave an appointment reminder message.  Do you have an web account?  If not, I'd recommend going to http://www.kp.org and setting up an account.  I'm guessing that there is something in your profile that allows or blocks leaving a message.

This number is NOT Kaiser Medical. I verified it with them.

Wow....Patty....You represent Kaiser SO WELL!!!  Just because someone doesn't LIKE Kaiser doesn't mean they don't have insurance.  I have them through work and I can't STAND them!!!  They are the worst insurance/healthcare providers I have EVER had.  I see ONE specific specialist that I really like and she isn't even a doctor....She's just a nurse practictioner in her field.

This website is for people to post "NOTES" about phone numbers they don't know and they are receiving calls from.  It's not a place for you to be Kaiser's personal bulldog and "internet fight" them.  Someone says something that you don't like about them....SUCK IT UP!!!  Kaiser has their big boy pants on.

It is Kaiser calling. They leave a voicemail saying reminders. I just got a call on a kit they mailed me for a test.

Do not call to me while business time and 8pm to 7am in Hawaii time zone.

Called me at 11 am...caller ID said it was Kaiser but I had my doubts.  I learned here that is an automated reminder for appointments...strange, I don't have any scheduled appointments. I think is a scam!

Iam glad for sites like this. Got called by this number 6 times in half an hour. Thought it was another call from that darn outsourcing in India. Was kaiser. That's to all that post
