I just blocked this number from calling my cell number. Everyone should do the same so it won't use up your minutes.

I've gotten calls from this number also. I'm in Colorado. I have family in that  area code so I answer thinking it's from them.  I thought of calling back, but thanks Jan, now I won't.

This number just called my cell phone.  When I answered, there was no one there.  I blocked the number on my iPhone.

Got it this morning, scumbags they are.

Call received from this number at 2:01 PM. I answered and received no response. I have 512 area code phone number.

noisy line. Caller wanted to talk to "Brian", told her it was a wrong number.

THIS NUMBER, 925-965-2958, CALLS MY PHONE AND DOES NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE.  I DO NOT ANSWER BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW WHO IT IS BUT I AM VERY ANNOYED.  SCAMMER!!!!!!

I am glad I checked for the number online and saw the comments.  I got call at 8:24 am today with no message and I have an Austin cell # too.

I'm in Austin TX, called my cell today and didn't leave a message.  

Got a call from this number.  They hung up when I answered.  When I called back I received message that it isn't a working number.

They must be targeting Texas at the moment. 9:02 today -- got a call. I never answer a number I don't recognize, and I never call them back if they don't leave a message.

According to this link its a verizon business line with heavy spam activity

I say hello and they are silent and then hang up.  Same call and get non working number.  Blocked on phone.

Judy, I am in Austin and got a warning about phone scams:

"During the phone scam, thieves use computers to send thousands of calls to random telephone numbers.

People say when they call back, they sit on hold for awhile listening to what they say is elevator music, with a person never answering. It finally disconnects, but the trouble doesn?t stop there.

If you do call back, KXAN has learned you could see a charge on your phone bill for as much as $9 a minute."

I have been getting several calls from "Caller ID Unknown", the same number that called you, and another one that just rings once and that is a local number.  I do not respond to any of those types of calls.  And, if I am in doubt, I wait for the voicemail.  If it is important, the caller will leave a message.

They have called me three times.  I never answer, but they don't leave a message.  I tried to call back and the number is not a working number.  Very strange.

Many calls from this number over the past week. Usually mid morning, and early evening. No message no answer if you pick up. A real pain as it's on my cell with limited minutes etc.

They have been calling every day so I just blocked them on my phone. I never answer but its annoying none the less.

I answered, they asked for "Willy", I told them that I didn't know a Willy, thank you.  He said "Oh, I must have the wrong number and apologized for my inconvenience".   When I called this number back a few minutes later, 5 rings, "the number you've called is not in service".

I rather doubt that. the shady outfits just robo dial, others have hacked info from sites.. but they find it online also. Google your name and your phone number, places like spokeo that shows up, make em remove your info!  And if you have facebook, make sure your personal info is private!

They call me nearly every day.  Once I started ignoring the calls, they will hang up and call back from a blocked number.  They have also called my work which is quite annoying. From what I can figure, our government has leaked our information from the Healthcare Exchange to scammers.  I guess our government has provided a whole new source of revenue for scammers. Thanks Mr. President.

same here !!! these people keep calling ,leaves no message. sounds like a scam to me!!!

925-965-2958 calls a lot, sometimes every day.  I usually don't get it immediately, but if I do, it immediately hangs up.

Calls just about every day - hangs up if I answer.
