Received a call from this number at 1am Eastern. Did not pick up, but they stayed on the line long enough to listen to my outgoing voice mail message and trip the recording, although they did not leave a message.

Same foreign sounding voice.

Same thing for us. He wanted to confirm phone number name and employer. Wouldn't tell him anything. Sounded like he was from a call center in India.

Got the typical call at 3:25 am. I was looking for a new job, IT related, and I know cold calls are how a lot of places operate. Maybe they'll call back so I can yell at them. Luckily, my phone was silent downstairs in my purse.

If I get another call from this towelhead recruiting agency, so help me, I'll physically track them down and piss on their beloved garments while eating a hamburger with my unwashed hands and feet.

I received a call from this number last night on my cellphone at 2:55am. It was in my car luckily so it didn't wake me. But this afternoon I *also* got a call from a recruiter called "KG Search" (CID: 422-398-3300).
I didn't answer the call but they left a long voicemail; they already knew my name and my industry, and claimed to be searching for a software engineer for a "leading software manufacturing company". Presumably they call all this info from my resume online.
The caller left me a callback number and email:
888-738-5815 x1305
gopu.p@kgsearch.com
Found their web page here, but it won't load on Firefox (MIME issues):

I got a call from them as well at 11:30 EST. No message and no one on the other line when I answered. The next day I got a call from a recruiter. I would agree with the earlier post that they are trying to verify correct phone numbers.
The number that called me back the next day was 845-228-0847. They claimed to be a third party recruiter for Avery/Dennison searching for a finance position. According to them they got my name and number from Monster.com. The questions they asked appeared legitimate. The caller definitely had an accent possibly from India or that region of the world.

I also received a call from 925-997-6168 at 11:35pm on April 11:35PM. They called my business number, which has a recording with my cell# to reach me at if it is urgent. They immediately tried calling me on my cell# - but I missed that call.
The next morning, I received a call from 973-594-0940, and young woman said she was a recruiter with a high-tech firm (I think she said Unisys). She asked quite a few questions about my experience and background - she seemed quite interested in my experience with Microsoft .NET technology. We talked for perhaps 10-15 minutes. My guard was up - but I didn't detect any questions that were out of the ordinary. Near the end of the call she said she wanted to know my salary requirements. She also asked if she could send me an invitation to connect on LinkedIn.
Since I am not looking for a new opportunity, she asked if I knew of anyone else - I mentioned I had a friend who was looking, and that I could send her a resume if she contacted me via email.
I never heard from her again.
I suspect this might have been a legitimate recruiting firm - masking as a front for Unisys - but it could also have been an idenify theft ring - based on the number of entries I'm seeing on this site for that number.

Got the call from 925-997-6168 first on my home phone, then on my cell phone at around 3:46a. Didn't get to the phone in either case to pick up - no message left on either phone. I'm hoping someone can ferret out who these jerks are...

After receiving a call from this number, the next morning I received a call from a company called KG. They claimed to be job search firm. The only thing they knew about me was that I worked for the company that was mentioned in the previous nights call. I noticed someone else who was called also worked in technology. Maybe an offshore search firm trolling.

Just got a call (5:40am EST) from this number. When I answered "Hello?" they hung up.
I'm curious if anyone who has received a call from this number has had any identity theft issues? Two of my card numbers were recently exposed during the Hannaford Bros. Inc. breach from December 2007 through this month (March 2008).

Got a call twice at 1am EST from 925-997-6168. Asked if this was me and then hung up. Caller was male, had an accent...sounded like english Caribbean or African. I could also hear others in background...like a call center.
