I got a text from this number saying that I won a $1000 Walmart gift card and to go to http://www.getyrdeals.net to claim it. I did not enter into any contest.
When you go to the website is asks you to agree to the sites Privacy Policy. The policy states "The types of personally identifiable information that we collect at this Website, during registration and when you make a purchase include, without limitation, your name, street address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, social security number and credit card information."
Why would anyone need my social and credit card information for a gift card?
