Legal measures only work against entities that are working legally.

These are call centers that BUY calling lists. I used to work at one in Tx. They pay big bucks for the list, and it has your public info on it. The DO NOT CALL lisitng is something you need to update every 6 months. Even then, not all calls are blocked.

last 2 weeks getting this number on caller id. when at home and not. Tired of them calling. This last call I blew a hi pitched whistle in their ear. Hope this stops soon.

Called about a donation for breastf cancer.  Lady asked for my wife by name and when I asked who was calling she said well this call is for both of you.  Never said her name or her "foundation"  I listened for like 4 seconds n hung up.  Sounded like a scam

Unassigned Caller: Fund Raiser for Cancer Awareness. Not sure it's legit. They said, "Can we count on you for $50?" and I said, "No." They  hung up. Nice.....

Very weird call. Do you seriously expect me to tell the President that an alien has landed, assumed the identity of a dead housepainter from Madison, Wisconsin and is presently out tooling around the countryside in a hopped-up orange and black 1977 Mustang?

Call ID shows Flagstaff asked by name but said he wasnt home she then said in a very quick tone "no message I will call back" We are on the DO NOT call registry but it DOES NOT work...When u dial it back it says numbr cant be completed as dialed check your number.....They know my husband's name

Asked for me by name, acted like I donate to them all the time. Wanted to know if "the ladies" could count on a donation from me. I recalled that these were probably one of the charities on the national "10 worst charities" list that I had researched earlier.  We had a loved one die of cancer a while ago, there were no charities, foundations, organizations around to help with anything......we searched.

Have had a few calls from this number, BUT I beep them out. Wish I could meet up with them in person.

After receiving over a dozen calls (sometimes several in 1 week) that came from the Valley, possibly Gilbert Area, over the last year, this latest call came from Flagstaff (summer location?).  After arguing several times about these calls, this lady said it would take 72 hrs. to remove our number, which I reminder her that I have now requested the removal at least 4 times.  It was a very angry hangup on both parts.

My phone rang at 3:07 p.m. on Sunday, May 4th, when I was not at home.  Caller ID said FLAGSTAFF, AZ and the number.  I know no one in Flagstaff and would not have answered even if I had been at home.  Another number to my Pro Call Blocker's blacklist.
