Another unknown number

Yea I got a recent call right now lol i pressed one and then it hung up lol. they wont get anything from me because they dont know what company i work for ;)

posted ad on craigslist.  got same thing.  very related.  dont do anything with them... beware for people like this on craigslist they work on getting ur information they dont need your social security or DL# they just want ur address and number to solicit you and probly work on getting more information later... i dont know but dont risk it people are scandalous nowadays.

Just got one too on my VoIP.

It's a recoding about the box being opened and reclaiming your $500 (it was in spanish).

I got a call on my cell phone too.  It was a spanish recording about wining money.  I pressed 1 and asked the operator what was this about because I didn't enter any contests.  She asked me my name, I gave her a fake typical Spanish first name, then the call disconnected.

Just got one on my cell from 928-286-8998 did not leave message, after reading posts called from work line, got a recording saying this is a travel related call we will be calling back, then it ends, no options.

I just got the same call in NY on my cell.  Hope no one falls for this.

understood the last part, "...para recibes tu dinero," meaning " receive your money."

i wish these people would get a real job...

They called me the recording is in spanish and it says that you have just one One-thousand dollars and to press one to claim your prize when you press one a person picks up and says deparment of Prizes thats the point i hung up.

i get calls to my work phone, and then right away to my cell phone. i do not answer either if i do not recognize the number, and let it go to voicemail. if its important, they should leave a message and i will call them back. both of numbers are unlisted. i go and google the numbers, and each time i come up with the same comments as those in this thread. probably the same company, spoofing their caller-id tag.

Same thing for me last night.  I missed the call but no message was left.

Just happened to me. Same thing. No answer. No message.

Called me unsolicated.  Spanish recording. Hung up.

Same as others, to my cell phone.  I did not answer, no message.

Just received a call from 1-928-286-8998. When I answered there was a recording in Spanish that I did not understand and then i was hung up on. When I called that number back they asked me to press 1 if I wanted to be removed from their list. When I pressed 1 they asked me to enter my number. I hung up at that point.

It was to my cell phone too.

I just received the same call.  I hung up as well.  I could here a register ringing in the background.

Just got a call from this number, same thing as previous poster said, Spanish recording, listened to it and said "What?!" about three times, strictly a recording so I hung up.

I just got a call, too.  It was a recording, in Spanish, and all I understood was "dinero" (money).  I hung up.

Just got a call from this number (928-286-8998) on my cell phone. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message, so I have nothing to report on it.  My guess, though, is that it's probably a call about renewing my auto vehicle warranty. (I've been getting a bunch of those over the last 6 to 8 months).
