The phone number they used for me is 213-987-5299. When they couldn't get me to accept a loan they began calling from multiple numbers saying I was approved for a $7000 government grant. The catch was I had to buy a blue dot card and put $150 on it.

Total scam. Another Indian sounding accented guy telling me I have been approved for a $5000 loan I didn't apply for. Unbelievable.

I received the same e-mail with a word document attached.  However I do not believe it to be legitimate.  The following are my reasons.  1) I did not request a loan from GE Capital Bank.  2) I cannot find a John Morrison associated with GE bank, nor can I find evidence that GE Capital Bank is in the business of soliciting personal loans via e-mail.  3) You can open up the word document attached to the e-mail, and copy and paste the GE Capital Logo.

I don't know about you, but I am steering clear.  May call the number though, just out of curiosity.

Received email from John Morrison with a Loan Confirmation.  Contract sounds good; want to know if legit.
