Received a call on 6/21/11  on my answering machine asking for Melvin Croom from the Awards Center about a Ford Explorer that he had won. Melvin could not have entered a sweepstakes b/c he has vascular dementia & was not able to go anywhere unless I was with him and he could not answer telephone. I BELIEVE THIS WAS A TELEMARKETER

Got a call from Suzanne claiming to be from Awards Confirmation Center about a promotion I entered a year ago, for a Ford Explorer or 25K, and that my name was drawn for one of the three prizes, of course at no cost to me. Caller ID identified the caller as New Image from phone 931-490-2078. Said to call her back at 866-259-0823, I believe this is yet another variation of the phishing scam from some time ago. This is the second time for me, the first was from Prize Distribution Center also for a Ford Explorer. I guess Ford has to give them away since they can't sell them. Anyway can't be legit since I don't enter promotions, Suzanne didn't state which promotion and who the sponsor of the promotion was.
