just got a call..didnt recognize the #, answered the phone and I didnt say anything, and they didnt either and I hung up.  Call showed up from tennesee...spam

I received a call from this number, and today I called the number back.  The only response you get is instructions to "press 1" to be placed on their do not call list, and they're sorry for any inconvenience.  They do not properly identify themselves, so clearly there is something fishy here.

It is a car warranty company. I told them to remove my name and they actually called again (twice) two weeks later. I'm filing a complaint.

Also, you get dead air because their system will call many numbers at once. If someone picks up, the system looks for an open telemarketer, but if you get dead air it's because someone else picked up. Your call was abandoned.

I have gotten calles from this number about five times. It is some kind of vehicle warranty company. I have told them to each time to take my number off the list and they just hang up on me but continue to call. Something is up with this "company."

Yeah, I also got a call from this number. Like others, I didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up. But what's interesting is, just 20 minutes earlier I got a call from a Washington number (206) 426-5423. I didn't recognize that number so I didn't pick up. But they sent me a text to "Please call." So I eventually called back only to find out it was an automated machine giving instructions to, "... be taken off of our list... sorry for any inconvenience."

I don't know if these two numbers are connected, but I found it strange that I got a call from both within 20 minutes of each other.

So I talked to a rep. on the phone and I said well Im not sure why youre calling my my dad does...and he hung up. I am pissed, I tried calling the number back but it wont let me!
Anyone have the number so I can call and get my name off the list? Thanks!

Nevermind....it worked after the 3rd time I called!

My parents have been getting called from this company for months.  I decided to do some investigation.  The company who services the number is called Paetec Communications (in Tennessee).  They only service medium- to large-sized business, so this "company" must pay some money.  I called Paetec (877-340-2555).  Unfortunately, the guy I talked to can't give out the "company's" information or he would get in a lot of trouble.  Paetec has to receive a supeona in order to release information.  I was instructed to call my local police department to submit a complaint, but without the company's name and information, I'm not sure how that would work.  He also gave me the number of the fraud department for Paetec (877-999-7705) and asked me to call tomorrow to submit a complaint.  I plan to pursue this... if I'm lucky, I can get some cash out of this "company" for violating telemarketing standards and for harassment.  :)

I hope that anyone reading this gives the fraud department a call and also the local police department to try to get a supeona going.  If you have any luck, or if you want to join forces, e-mail me at:  marymuck@gmail.com.  I'd like to see these people go down, and get some extra cash for my parents.  :)

Go to the FTC complaint assist every time they receive one of these calls. I've been doing this every time since a few days ago, because these calls will just not stop! Maybe someone there will actually do something about it if they get enough complaints!!?!?!

good idea, these calls are coming into my company cell phone, which I would venture to say that other people I work with are also getting these calls on their company cell phones.  Which with betw 8-10K employees, many with company owned cell phones, this could add up pretty quickly for a big corporation.  I could imagine your suit could grow exponentially.  I just counted all the scammed cell phone calls in the last month and there is at least 10, all of them commented on in this site.

They call several times a day about a car warranty I do not have!

I get these calls on both my cell and my landline, I have followed their instructions to be removed from their call list, no surprise that they are still calling. One thing that definitely informs you that its a scam of some kind is when you don't own a car like me. Unless my imaginary dream car needs a new warranty these people are full of it. One time I waited to talk to an operator when she asked for my information I told her there was no need, "You see I don't own..." CLICK! ROFL She hung up on me, must be company policy. Didn't even get to finish my sentence :(

Received 2 calls yesterday from 931-634-1089, and another one today from 931-634-1085.  Did not answer any of these calls.  No message.  I also agree that it's a scam from the cell phone company because I just lowered my cell phone plan 3 days ago and these calls started coming in for the first time since I've owned the phone?!  Go figure...

While I was on another call on a backup cell phone whose number I never give out, I got the call-waiting beep and saw this number.  They didn't leave a message.

Keeps calling my cellphone

I am called 1 or 2 times a day by these people. I have asked to be removed from their call list 3 times...but they are still calling me.  The last time I was called I asked for the company name & they hung up on me.  If you try to call the number back it tells you that it is some kind of collect call line.

This appears to be a landline out of Dover TN.  Virgin Mobile apparently also sells their cell numbers, I started getting calls from this number the first day our business bought and activated the phone.  I called the number back today and was given a "press one to be put on the do-not-call list" but I'm not holding my breath.  These people are violating their terms of service with their phone service provider - which I'm guessing is AT&T since they serve Dover, TN.  However, going to AT&T's website to file a fraud complaint was fruitless - you can't contact them unless you are a customer.  So please, somebody who has their own phone through AT&T call and report this number.

Automated call saying second warning about my car warranty expiring. This company is in need of getting a class action filed against them. They literally use thousands of numbers from just about every state. I doubt they even sell a ligament product, because if they did, they wouldn?t need to stoup to such low telemarketing attempts, which are costing us money since they are heavily targeting cell phone users. So far I have gotten about 500 calls from them, fortunately since most of them are out of state so I just don?t answer, but on the few times I do it?s them again.

Auto Insurance scam.  I've been called at least 5 times in the past 10 days.  I told them to get me off thier list.  Like that will work!

Actualy there is a federal law which states you can't use an automated service to telemarket cell phones.  I traced the number back to Dover TN.  Maybe a wopper lawsuit is in order if you can figure out where they are located!

I have gotten two of the calls today on my cell phone.  I didn't answer and no message is left.   I just stubbled onto this site and I appreciate the postings to clue me on what this call is about.  

Is there way to get these stopped?

They keep calling my and my husband cell phone. We do not own a Car !! How can we have an expired warrenty???
