After answering...with no response...I said, "Stop calling my phone with the BS!"...Problem solved!

I am tired of these calls how can we stop them? I didn't answer when they called , but called the number back and received the same message that Maryland got.

Got call from this number, but didn't answer.  They did not leave a message.  Tried to call back but got a "not in service" message.

If I try to call it back it says its not a working number 2 seconds after they call... I'm getting highly irritated.

Recived a call from this number on my home phone then my cell inside of two hour. Could have hacked my bundled account. Number shows as Unknown caller, Texas. When you call the number back a recording that tells you that service is not available on the line.
Do NOT answer this scammy sucmmy number.

This number called today sometime in the morning. I looked at the
caller ID, but let the phone ring. They didn't leave a message.

Also got the call today while not home.  Called it back - still not working.  Sounds like we don't really need to speak with them.

They called, asked for me by my first name and hung up.

Last evening we received a call from this number.  A male informed me that I had a free vacation that the time had run out on but for a fee of two hundred some dollars he would reactivate it for me.  I told him I wasn't aware of any vacations that I hadn't taken (duh), and that I wasn't interested.  He became more agressive and insisted that I was missing out on a great thing so he would let me speak to his "supervisor".  Another guy came on the line and sounded dumber than the first one.  He asked what my question was.  I told him I didn't have a question that I already knew that this wasn't anything I was interested in.  He began to argue and I said goodbye and hung up.  Immediately I received a call from yet another phone # and he rudely told me that I had hung up on him (maybe not as dumb as he sounded)
I said yes I did, I'm not interested in this and I have other things to do, he informed me that I would have other things to do, like sleeping when he called me at 2am.  I then received, in rapid succession, 6 more calls from 4 different numbers.  One even gave the name of the person the phone was listed to!  No one ever  spoke when I answered my phone the first two calls so I  didn't answer the rest of the calls as I was on the phone speaking with the Sheriff.  I have also notified my State Attorney General's Office of the incident in the hope that someone, somewhere can put people like this where they belong.
By the way, no one called at 2am.  We had turned the bedroom phone off anyway.

i got a call from 936-212-6886 and they never answer

I am a receptionist and receive a call from this number. When I stated the business name, I heard activity in the background (like a call center), heard a female voice in the distance and then a hang up.

Call back and got a message "Not a working number. Please check the number and try again" then a message that was difficult to understand "syria one of these texts" OR "celluliar one of these texts message RA3" and then a busy tone.

Receive calls like this from various numbers with the same results weekly. I have a list with similar numbers and when the number is displayed, I do not answer.

I agree to never answer a phone call from a number I don't know.  I'm afraid of what people can do to me over the phone. they can umm, well...

I answered the phone from this number, asked me a question. I could tell it was a telemark and hung up.  Yes I survived, Thank you.

Received a call asking if I want to advertise my business on the back of a tshirt for a local high school, even though I'm in Tennessee and the number is from Texas. Asked him to call back later. Dialed the number and got the message that it is not a working number. Scam.

I believe it is from a travel or time share type of company.  I didn't answer.  Very annoying.

Just got a call from 936-212-6886 Guy pitched me a credit card relief loan.

Just got the call from this number - no one there - called it back - number not in service.

the call comes from a cellular one mobile phone but can't find out who owns it..still hacking for an answer...gonna kick some butt..tired of this crap!

I work at a law office and got a call today from this number. I saw it come up as a number from Texas.They said they were calling in reference of doing a fundraiser for a high school. I couldn't understand what high school she said. I asked her where she was calling from; she slightly hesitated and said Minneapolis. Obviously she was lying. When i started to tell her we office share here she hung up. Fraud if you ask me.

Answered call, said she was from American Medical Insurance Benefits or something like that, said it was about my request for benefits regarding out of pocket expenses for medical/dental/vision insurance, said I had no idea what she was taking about...I asked if she was selling something, said no and that she would disregard my request and then hung up on me.

I received a call from this number today. When I answered there was no response and then a fast busy signal.

Recieved a call from this number on 8/8/11.  The man said our health insurance payment did not go through and could we give him our credit card number, they only had 4 numbers.  Said they were American Medical Insurance...
I refused to give it to him...said we did not have that insurance.  He hung up.  They are after credit card numbers....beware.  If one returns the number, it says it is out of service.

My comcast TV pops in numbers on the TV screen. They called this morning and yesterday at the same time. My screen told me the number was a cell phone from Texas. Both times they did not answer. Next time I won't bother to answer, but I am going to check my voicemail outgoing messag to make sure that I don't give out too much information. Even better if I know for sure its them, I'll answer and hang up on them so they don't get into my voicemail.

These people are Ebay hackers! They called me to verify me on Ebay while I was listing an auction! I thought it was Ebay and verified my phone number. A second later a phone call came to the house and it gave me a four digit pin. I put the pin number in the computer and that is when the hacker's stole everything! They somehow got my password and changed it and changed my email address to theirs, etc. They even listed a White Toyota Land Cruzer on my account. I called Ebay that same night when my neighbor helped me to figure this out. Appears they hacked in 10 days earlier possibly too when they sent me bogus emails it looked like from ebay erro M07 section 9. Very common scam run off of Ebay. I wish Ebay could do more about this. I was not liable for the charges they made on my account it was like $20 of charges. Thank God for my neighbor! I owe him big! So I learned my lesson Ebay does not ask you to verify anything. Be sure you guys read the fine print on everything! Even on your emails. If it doesn't go to your ebay inbox and your email its a scam! Your user name will always appear on the email if it is really from Ebay. Just wanted to report this to the public. I will be reporting them to the FTC or law enforcement. If anyone has information that may help me please let me know. This phone number was connected to them:936-212-6886 that was the number that called my home asking for the pin number. I have their email address to if anyone needs that to see if it is the same people running these scams. Thank you.

My husband and I received this call last Friday. I go through the caller ID every few days and look them up on this website. I post to warn other people every call I get. This one just hung up on us after we answered. Probably a prank call or scam. I have been scammed this year twice and an identity victim once (won't mention which site it happened on) Beaware of these people. File a complaint on the donotcallregistry.gov and ftc.com site. We are registered on that site with all our phone numbers. SCAMMERS BEAWARE!! Go and get yourselves an honest to God real hard working job like the rest of us! Do the right thing and turn yourselves in and pay the consequences for what your have done!

I never answer calls that I don't recognize. As with the rest of these posts, it's just another scam. No message was left.

I received 4 calls in the last hour from this number? who is it and how can I stop them from calling?
