Someone called from this number. I answered it and nothing is on the other end. Very Annoying. This has happened twice now.

We got a dozen calls from this number yesterday and no one was on the other end. Today I waited, and a man with a stereotypical Indian-type accent identified himself as William Smith with AT&T, asked to speak with the person in charge of our phone systems.

"William Smith" has called weekly for months. He is with "AT&T Promotions". I have told him to stop calling and hung up on him, on more than one occasion. Yesterday he called again and told me last week I asked him to call me in a couple of days to change phone service from AT&T to AT&T at higher rates for service the company can't use! The last straw was him asking for my driver's license # or SSN.
I have spoken with AT&T customer service and requested to be removed from their telemarketing list. NO LUCK!
If AT&T won't stop him, maybe the Feds can.

My boyfriend gets this phone call on his cell phone a few times a day. Today they called at 12:35, 3:40 and 4:38. All caller ID says is texas. He has been getting them ever since he got online to apply for jobs. He must have missed something becuase he ended up on a free education site and has been getting these calls ever since. He also gets them from phone number Nebraska number 402-982-0460 that started around the same time.

We get calls from these people constantly. They always ask for the "person in charge of your AT+T account". Today's solicitor said his name was Max Williams. I like to screw with these people by saying things like, "so, you work for AT+T? how come you don't know who you're calling for?" We have asked to be taken off their list hundreds of times, to no avail. Total time-suck.

Recv'd a call from this number at work today. They wanted to speak with the person responsible for the phone decisions. I told them that they do not take solicitation calls over the phone so they would need to fax their request to us. He took the fax number & hung up.

I get a call from this number a few times a week at work. I pick up, and it's just dead silence.

Tired of this number calling at 8 AM then again at 8:45 PM, We screen all calls and do not answer who we do not reconize. Telmaketers need to go get a job that is not harrassment.

Someone call from "ATT" reported that I was on a "preferred customer" list, and that I was eligible to be upgraded to a notebook computer on the new ATT network. She asked if I'd seen a "netbook", as though to entice me to listen to her offer.
