Someone is calling me, called back and says not in service, who do you call to report. This is a scam of some type.

We get at least 2-3 calls a day from this #.  No messages left, and no response if we answer.

If they are using number disguising software you are wasting $5 - their correct information will still not be available. These type calls are virtually impossible to stop because so much of their information is fraudulent. The best thing to do, short of just handing up, is to get a police whistle and blow it as loud as possible into the phone. It might not stop the callers but at least you'll get the satisfaction of letting off some steam (created by these unwanted calls) and you'll have telemarketer with ringing in their ears for about an hour.

Again today I received a call of this number. The representative said that their company name is Personal Defenders and they are providing "free" personal security devices (med-alert type) to "qualified" people in my area. Apparently "qualified" means still breathing - and sure the device is free but you are committed to a long term contract with a monthly fee that is obscene.  When I asked where they were located she said the home office is in Florida where she was calling from but that they have a representative in my "area". When I asked for the local address I was told that they could not provide that until I agreed to provide them with some information. I stated that I was on the national do not call register and that they had been calling me at least three times a week for the past three or four weeks. She apologized but said they were "allowed" to disregard the do not call register as it did not apply to their business (?). I suggested she get a real job and stop making illegal phone calls and bothering people who had no intention of ever doing business with their fraudulent company.

Stop Calling Now!!!!!!!!!!! You are not Medical Alerts, nor are you from Clearwater, Florida. I am onto you games and scam so you can stop now. 937 is an OH. area code, and normal prefixes do not begin with a 0, your gig is up "937-059-4744 Medical Alerts" Ha Ha...................

Bogus phone number, scam, needs to be reported to someone to investigate. Does this everyday. It will say hello and then goodbye , Call back and says disconnected. I am tire of it.

Have received several calls on different days over 2-3 week time period, never leaving a message. Assuming telemarketer,  I do not answer home phone unless I know caller, just leave calls go to message system.  It is still annoying.

Many of the scammers are using spoofed phone numbers.  They are calling from outside the US, where US law enforcement has no power. Even for the ones calling from inside the US the crime is low priority for law enforcement.   Yes, you can report the calls.  But the police probably won't do anything about the call.

Save your $5.

You may be able to dial * 57 after the call disconnects and it will trace the call for 5.00 and you can have them report the trace to your policie dept. I have been getting them too and am going to do this the next time these clowns call my number. I want them put in jail for harassment.

They keep harrassing me!

They call several times a day every day.

Just called the kettering police dept and report this number as a nuisance.
They promised to investigate.

I don't answer a call I don't know, especially a number that starts with zero LOL

Just got a call from this number... Right when I said, "Hello?", a female robotic voice replied, "Goodbye," and immediately hung up.

This number has been calling for two weeks several times a day both my house phone and my cell phone. I don't give out my cell number to anyone except family, work and close friends.

the same thing is happening to me! im sick of it!! i have a missed call from this number at least 2 times each day! so annoying!!

Received calls from this number two days in a row. If I don't recognize the number I don't answer. After 4 rings I received the 'Missed call' message. I think they're fishing for a live line for telemarketers.

I have gotten a call from this number for twi days in a row, when I attempt to call back it said this number has been changed, disconnected, or no longer in service.

Get a call from this number every day

I just received a call from that same number.  They just sat there without saying anything.
