They state that you completed a request for insurance on line. I did that about 3 years ago. Have some fun and ask them if they paid money for the lead they are calling.

Don't even bother answering or trying to argue with them. Avoid the headache. Call your phone company or get online and just block them.

I recently started receiving calls from this number. Upon seeing caller ID reporting Hollansburg, OH, I thought it VERY odd. I just moved to souther Florida. What made me curious is the fact that Hollansburg's traditional prefix is 937-997-xxxx. (I grew up about 10 minutes from there... a VERY small village of ~200 maybe). Going to inquire to family/friends if anyone knows about this 202 prefix.

Annoyingly, I also get calls from this number. I never answer unrecognized telephone numbers. If it's important they have a choice to leave a message. If I still don't know who they are, I do not return their call.
You should be able to go online to your telephone service provider's website, under your account, and be able to add telephone numbers to block. I've done it will others ... this one is getting added today.
Also, you should report these calls to the agency responsible for the DO NOT CALL list. If they get enough complaints against the number they will investigate and prosecute if necessary.

I have told these people not to call me. They are from some insurance company and said I made an inquiry online. Told them i did not think so, but even if i did, i don't want any more calls from them. And I am on the Do Not Call list. They still keep calling and hanging up when I answer.

Anny!!! I just posted, and THEN I read your post. It was AMLI that sold me out, too!!!! Needless to say, after they rejected every claim that was submitted to them and they screwed me over so many times, I got a policy through Blue Cross/Blue Shield. This was 2 years ago, and I'm still dealing with the aftermath.

I have asked these people to not call me SO many times!!! Then, they have the guts to get angry with me because THEY are calling MY house, and I've asked them not to. I'm on the "Do Not Call" registry list, I've asked them not to call probably 50 times, and they continue to call AT LEAST 4 times per week. One night they called at almost 9:00 pm, and I have an infant daughter who was trying to sleep that they WOKE UP. I've registered a complaint about them because they claim (as I've read with other posts) that I've inquired about their insurance company. I have NOT. I had a policy 2 years ago that was a crap policy. The company was shut down, and several of the "big-wigs" were in a lot of trouble for insurance scam. Apparently, according to my regular insurance agent, this company sold my information to several other companies. I receive calls from these people, along with 2 other companies on a VERY regular basis...like I said, several times per week. If anyone has any good suggestions for how to get rid of them for good, I would LOVE to hear it!

I have also been contacted by someone at this number. When I answered, they hung up. I called back to let them know to please take my name off their list and that I was on the 'do not call list' as well. The lovely gentleman that answered told me that I had called them before regarding health insurance, which, of course was not correct. He then said he would take me off their list and hung up on me (again). So much for superior customer service I guess.

anny- I had the exact same situation with AIM, CEO Club and Phoenix Insurance Co., I also sent a complaint to the Illinois Insurance Regulator for review. I'm also out about $5,000 because of this scam.

call and offer me a less cost drug card--but did not inform me of his cost. He started filling out paper--and also wanted my ss # --that is when I ended the call--very pushy. Sounds like a scam....

This number has called me twice. If it is indeed Fedelity Health Palms, they should not call me because I am on the do not call list. I had insurance with AIM who turned it over to CEO Club who did not offer insurance (one of those illegal outfits connected with AMLI). The agent who sold me the original policy called me to offer me some other policy to replace the scam crap he sold me. Of course, I told him off. I suspect the caller from the above number is somehow connected with this SCAM outfit. I'm going to add this info to the file I've established with the Insurance Commisioner in Florida.
