How sketchy is it that a supposedly legitimate utility company calls without any ID on their caller info, refuses to leave a message and (when I answered) nobody was there.

Sorry DP+L...you come across as loan sharks sometimes. Are you running these calls out of someone's basement?

Identify yourself in the call, if it's important, leave a message. If it's not important, simply don't call.

How tough is that to really grasp? You're providing services to CUSTOMERS. The least you can do is to at least TRY to act like you want to connect with them instead of hiding behind some suspicious, unidentified number and not leaving messages. That's just kind of creepy if you ask me.

I got this call on my cell phone...didn't recognize the phone number, so I let it go to voicemail.  It was Dayton Power and Light telling me my power has been restored??  I live in Florida, STUPID!

This number keeps calling my cell phone and there is never anyone on the line, when I try to call back they do not answer.

Ok, makes sense it would be DP&L because it happens when our power is out.  It's annoying that there's never anyone there however and the same thing happens to me.  My cell rings but there's no one there or they hang up just before I answer.

I just received a missed call on my cell. They didn't leave a message.

it is Dayton Power and Light customer service saying they wanted to let me know my budget amount was changing.  no idea why they didn't just leave a message.
