GE Capital bank.  Just got a new work cell and they were calling as soon as I tuned on my phone.  I have never had an account with them - plus I have not yet given out this number and it's not registered to me (work phone)

In these 10 calls they never left a message.  I finally call the number back.  After holding for a few seconds I get someone in India who I can barley hear and she can barley hear me.  I'm shouting into the phone to be loud enough.  She asks for my account number.  I tell her I don't have one.  She asks for my social security number - I'm not about to give that out.  I explain again that I don't have an account there and they are calling my work cell that I just got.  She asks for my name.  "Matthew".  She can't hear me.  Can you say that again?  "Matthew".  Can you spell that Please?  "M a t t h e w."  She asks me to spell it again.  "M like Michael, A like Alpha, T like tango, T like tango, H like hotel, E like echo, W like whiskey."  She didn't catch that, can I please spell it again? "M like Michael, A like Alpha, T like tango, T like tango, H like hotel, E like echo, W like whiskey." (the whiskey I'm really wanting now).  She spells is back Mahel? I give up - yes that is my name.  Mahel.....  

She transfers me to her supervisor who can at least hear me.  He confirms a couple of times that I do not have an account with GE Capital and then asks how long I've been receiving calls.  I explain again.  He says he'll take me off of their call list and I should not receive any more calls.  We'll see.  But if I do get more I will be reporting the number.

They called me at 8:02 AM today....a Sunday. I have been getting 4 - 5 calls a day from them. I end up just blocking their numbers. If they want something from me this is NOT the way to get it. I'm now determined to just ignore all the calls. The couple I have answered no one spoke anyway. Not a good way to do business.

Or just get online and block the incoming numbers

If you have a cell phone,  Download the Call Control app.  It is worth it.  Phone rings once and then hangs up.

I'm starting to think class action suit...oh, but wait, then GE Money would just change their name again so the sued company doesn't exist anymore and can't be sued. (For the fourth time!) Let's see, I haven't paid them for a year? (I have paid every month) So their still just calling 14 times a day?

On the statement for my account on their website it shows no payments and I owe x amount. If I click payments, it shows all the payments I have made. Hence no collection attempts, just harassment. Illegal.

Anyone else experiencing the same senario?

It's GE Money and they are relentless - they call me 7 times a day and never leave a message.

If they call your wife at work she needs to tell them to stop calling her there and they have to stop...if you tell them you will get fired if they continue to call there, they will stop...I had to do that...I get angry when they call me at work. Don't call me at work about my bills. You call me at my house and if you cant get in touch with me there, oh well...

Oh and they like to change the numbers they call from...They will call from one number for awhile, and when they get no answer they will try calling from a different number to see if you pick up...but I am smart and come online when they call to see who it is and everytime I punch in the phone number on google their name pops up...so I know what they are doing...but I am not gonna play their games...

I just let the bill collectors call..I silence my phone and ignore the calls...no matter how much you tell them you cant pay or you are gonna be late they are gonna continue to call and harass...and no matter how much you file a complaint, nothing ever gets done about it...so I just dont answer...and neither does my mom...if I would have gotten laid off for a year I would have never went into debt

They call me non-stop several times a day from different numbers.  I actually asked them once to not call me on Sunday and they don't.  I think GEMB outsources their collection agency because I never talk to anyone where English is their native language.  The accents are always thick and they never pronounce my name right

I also get calls from an "Unavailable" number, but I know it's them.

Know what I do??? Tee Hee!  When they call, I answer, then place the phone near the speaker of my TV.  Or to be really obnoxious, I start singing, "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" (although it's March).

This could be GEmoney -- they call constantly from different numbers many times a day.  This is probably the 10th GEmoney phone number I've seen

This caller from Dayton Ohio does not leave a message but calls before 9 am and frequently.

The one time I talked to them they asked for my 93 year old mother and said she charged over 3 thousand dollars in Washington State. She has not been in WA, she does not drive, and they won't admit that they do not have her signature.

GE Money bank.  Never leaves a message and it seems that no one answers when I pick up.  They are now on my blocked call list.  They are using unscrupulous collection practices.  Only problem is I think that they go through some place in India.

These crazy people call me and ask for some one else. GE MONEY BANK IS THE WORST!!  Never deal with these people. NEVER BY GE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES!!!

ya they don't leave messages and when I do answer all I get is an automated system "I'm sorry but all of our agents are currently busy plz wait for the next associate" and my thoughts are why the hell are you calling me if you're not going to talk to the clients and make them wait and then get a rude call like my wife did at work from these morons!

these idiots do the same to me call different numbers and either hangup or put a stupid recording that talks so fast and mumbled.  If they really wanted to speak with someone why hang up or talk stupid that makes no sense.. to me that's a prank.  Report them to Federal Trade Commission, send them a letter of 'cease and desist' from the calls.  That way they can no longer call you and have to only communicate with you by mail.

They call all times of day and leave no message. I believe it is GE Money in relation to a delinquint credit card payment. Long distance so I do not call back. It should be illegal for them to call so many times a day.

Got about 18 calls from this number the first day I had my new pay as you go phone. I called them from a land line and told them they were calling me. It was GE money bank. They said they would take it out of the system. We'll see how it goes.

Let's give them a taste of their own medicine. Everybody call them back and just don't say anything. Do it multiple times each day and call their different phone numbers. I have a list of 10 of them. If everybody does this then they should get plenty busy wondering who is calling them. Here are some numbers you can call. They are all GE Money:
