Got called from them last night, didn't answer.  I did a Gallup Poll once, what a mistake!  They sold my number and now I get all these surveys.  One, last week was a "survey" on the environment.  But guess what?  Two days later I got a call from a company selling air filters, and they told me I had expressed interest with whoever I spoke to two nights before.  

Lesson - report the so-called survey companies as well, they may be a ruse.  The FTC does not stop polling or charities, but I will complain because I can link the survey with another number for sales.

Good one Mike! I'm going to start filling up his VM as he is filling up mine. This crap goes on everyday day in and day out. Being on the DNCL accomplishes nothing since the government isn't going to invest any money in getting these jerks to stop harassing us. I don't know how to stop it myself. Since they figured out how to manipulate caller ID, any means we had went out the window. I run a one man machine shop and I have to answer the phone in case its a customer but to do so means stopping a machine and wasting time. I HATE IT!

My suggestion is to call up thier company over and over and over and flood them with unwanted calls...

i answered on the first ring. it was a woman on the other line who said they were doing a survey on newspapers and websites. i told her i didn't have the internet and didn't subscribe to newspapers and she hung up.

caller ID:BERNETT RSCH   nobody on line when I answered, like one of those multidialers that are supposed to be disallowed for telemarketing (I don't know if that applies to surveys).  As someone on a similar site to this said, they have a link to remove phone numbers at bernett.com . We'll see if they actually honor it.

They are a survey research firm and as such do not have to comply with the national do not call list (at least that's what their website said).
That being said, if you go to bernett.com you can request for your number to be removed from their call list.

I got my first call from this company and it had better be the last! These kind of phone calls are getting to be a nuisance. I have better things to do with my personal and precious time than to run to the telephone all day long. I have gotten as many as 17 of these kind of calls in one day. I PAY for my telephone service for MY benefit, not THEIRS!

I received a call tonight from 937-668-8011. He said he was from Burnette Research and wanted to speak to a male who was 25 yrs or older. I said there wasn't any and hung up. I am married but my husband doesn't answer calls like this.

Called again one other time prior to needing to report this again.

No message left. Recognized this as a scam number and didn't answer.

I agree....this is a scam. I'm on the do not cal list, but this # still made it through. I've logged it as junk on my phone so that it will show up that way if they call again

Called at 6:47PM on MAR 9,also called at 5:48PM and 8:53PM on MAR 10 but never left a message !

Caller called this eve & hung up just right before the answer machine came on.

Caller wouldn't say anything when my answer machine came on.  They hung on a while & hung up.  Could hear lots of people talking in the background but couldn't make out what they were saying.
