Person called with a very strong foreign accent telling me I was chosen to receive $7,500 in government grant money and that I wouldn't have to pay it back. I told him I wasn't interested and he got angry and proceeded to tell me to f**k off several times and then he hung up. This nu, ber has called before but this was my first time talking to someone. I won't answer to that number ever again.

I got 2 calls from this # and when i called it back the number was a non working #. so when the call came in again so i answered it and it was a person with a strong accent claiming to call from the united states and it was a grant program and i said to take my name off the list! can't stand scams!

Many, many calls.  Have asked 2ce to be removed.  They (another country, with an accent) state that I'm entitled to a government grant of $8,000 that does not charge interest or need to be repaid.  Challenge them and they hang up and the number can't be re-dialed.  Anybody know how to get rid of them?

just hold down your finger on the callers number and it will allow you to block number.

I have received several calls from (937) 763-3343 out of Hillsboro, OH. They don't leave a message.

I get about 7 calls a day from this number and others. I have Verizon so I just put it on my call block list, on my online account. However, right now I just have it on my reject call list on my phone b/c you can only have 5 numbers at a time and it had been quite a while since they first called and I wanted to put a new number so I took it off..... big mistake!  Obviously they are relentless!  I know must ppl I know just answer the phone when anyone calls and if it's a scam our telemarketer they just hang up,  But I think that's just stupid. If you don't know the number then why answer, unless you're waiting for a call from a job, etc. But if that's the case then the number will be local. So just like a lot of these people say, if it's important they WILL leave a msg. So why answer?

Received the same call three times.  Twice yesterday (man w/Nigerian accent) both early in the morning (before 7:30 am).  Told them not to call again and got a call today from a woman with an Indian accent also claiming that I was awarded a government grant.  She actually had my mailing address too!

My experience was exactly the same.  Told them to write to me!!

Got a call from this number. I didn't answer as I have been constantly getting scam calls from various numbers. I blocked this one along with the rest. Called it back incognito on another phone. Says the number is not a working number as does the rest of the numbers I am blocking. This is one of those stolen non working numbers.

Called and a woman with an accent asked for "Gary" i said "Gary who?"  She said "Gary Carter" this is the name of the man who had my phone # before me i don't know him but i get many of his phone calls the thing is i have had this number for 4 yrs.  i am sick and tired of these scammers calling me i called the number back and a voice said it was not a working number is this something new that scammers do now?

I got a call from this number around 11 am this morning, they claim to be a representative of the US government and told me that I was chosen because of my location to receive s 7500.00 royalty payment/grant. I could hardly understand him, but he asked if I had pen and paper handy to take down information, he had my name, address and phone number. I asked him to call back later, no call as of yet..I am searching, but phone says Hillsborough Ohio.

There is really no reason to get repeated calls from obnoxious callers.
Simply get a phone number blocking service, app or device.

Being called 2 to 3 timed a day from this number. How do you stop it?

These people call me like 5 times a day I would answer and they would hang up or not say anything the one lady said hello I told her HI she said she was with the IRS and told me that I over paid by 7000.00 and how I would like it back wanting Bank info . I told her I will call the IRS my self ... she said " Why you waste my time " i was like Excuse me then she said it again then I told her F*** U B***H you are the one calling me trying to scam me .. I ask for her Supervisor ... She Hung up the phone then I called back and the number is not a working number ....

Answered a call from this number and the caller with a very strong eastern accent told me I had been approved for a $7,500 government grant, which I never had applied for. He gave me a confirmation number to give to someone else whom I was supposed to call at a different number. I called the other number and was told by another person with a very strong eastern accent that they worked for the government and that this was a once in a lifetime grant to pay off debt, bills or a new car if I wanted but I had to give my word I wouldn't use the money for gambling, drugs or alcohol. Then I was supposed to go to a Western-Union or Walmart to pick up the money but only after I bought a Green Dot card and put $300 on it. When I asked him what the name of the grant was he just went back into his spill about what I was supposed to use the money for. He told me the Green Dot card was for verification purposes only and that I wouldn't be sending the money to any one so I asked him why my state ID and SSC wouldn't be enough and he told me that he had to check the info with Green Dot on their computer. His plot started falling apart when I questioned him repeatedly and he ended up hanging up on me. The number they gave me to call was 202-436-9770 which is a Washington D.C. area code and thats what the tried to use to make me think it was really a government number but you can use a company like Vonage and get a phone number with any area code you want no matter where you are...It was just a scam

Received calls on March 18, 2014 at 12:11pm and then again at 12:12pm.  On March 19, 2014 at 2:12pm and then again at 4:52pm.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, nor do I call them back.  If it's important the caller will leave a message, if they don't, it wasn't important!
